Mr [redacted] does have an account with us and historically has been enrolled in our “budget program, whichallows customers to pay a pre-determined monthly amount over the heating season, rather than have to payper delivery,Mr [redacted] did express his desire to cancel his account and requested a refund of the remaining credit on hisaccountOur typical refund processing time is 4-weeks (and we strive to release them around the 30-daymark)While I do understand Mr [redacted] ’s frustration at what he perceives as a “run-around”, I’d like toexplain the situation.On August 24, 2016, [redacted] , Inc(Christoff Mitchell Petroleum as listed on the complaint) Was acquiredby [redacted] ***, Due to the changeover with companies, there was a change in the check disbursing processAllcheck requests are now sent to the main office in Chicago, and are disbursed on weekly basisMr [redacted] srefund request has been sent to the main office, and I have been assured it Will be released in this week’scheck run.Mr [redacted] has been told this, and still believes we are being untruthful with himI assure you that CMP hasevery intention of honoring his refund, it’s just a very unusual situation with the refund being due on or after theacquisition dateWe have done everything to assure him the refund will be honored and that the check will beprocessed and will be mailed to him no later than 9/19116.Please let me know if there is any other information needed.General ManagerOMP Energy, Inc
