I was contacted by the owner of the company who asked that I remove the complaint, and I promised him I would work with the Revdex.com to do so if he made good on the promises he made in our written agreement. My understanding is that their rating has gone from an “A” to a “D;” because they have made good on their promises, we would like to do what we can to help them reverse that.

Review: First, a little background. I was a member of the Five Star Force for 18 months, and finally cancelled our membership in 2013. When I had signed up with them, I was told they were going to actively reach out to asset management firms and look to get us business. After 18 months at $150/month, and after an investment in attending numerous networking events, I finally called Five Star and asked why we hadnt seen one listing come as a result of their work. The answer was that the salesperson who had signed me up had been fired for lying to his customers, that lead generation was not a function of Five Star, and that they saw their role as more of an education and support provider. Hearing that, I cancelled Lifestyles membership with Five Star immediately.Within a few months and at the end of 2013, [redacted] from Asset Management Consulting Firm reached out to me via email. He asked if I would be interested in his services. I told him the only way I would work with him would be if he were actively marketing our company. Through a string of emails, he let me know that he would.He said that he doesnt normally do contracts, but he sent me a one-sheet piece of paper with some bullets on it about things to which we agreed. Not being satisfied, I went over to our local coffee shop and spent four hours typing up a contract for [redacted] and Asset Management Consulting Firm.As of today, July 10, 2014, I am disappointed to say I have yet to receive one listing from [redacted] and Asset Management Consulting Firm. I have requested my $375 back, and then I have requested my $750 back, both requests were denied. At one point, when I was being persistent, [redacted] got sassy with me and said he was no longer interested in working with me and said I would receive a refund in full that was in May... No refund check, yet. Our agreement was "performance based", but [redacted]/AMCF has failed to supply even one listing, and now refuses to live up to his end of the contract.Desired Settlement: Our expectations are simple. We would like [redacted] to live up to his end of the contract he signed and agreed to... he failed to deliver even one client within 70 days, and failed to refund the original $375 and now, according to our contract, owes us a refund of $750. We would like [redacted] and AMCF to issue that refund immediately so that we can go our separate ways.
