all of the items as they lay in the vehicle when we repossess themThis information is also uploaded into the database we use and share with the finance companyWe have employees that are solely responsible for cleaning out vehicles and our drivers do not touch any personal property in the vehiclesI fully trust my employees and have never had an issue with theft because our repossessions are so well documented through the entire processI encourage Ms*** to track her *** via the Find My *** application or through her my-cloudWe are not in the business of stealing property, and if my employees were ever caught doing this, they would be immediately firedHowever, our company will not be paying Ms*** any moneys for the things she claims were in her vehicleI would be happy to share the pictures and inventory list that was done when her vehicle was repossessedThank you

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve complaint. The company didn't tell the truth about what was missing I asked about the missing items the lady stated that the owners are he ones who clean out the cars because of another incident they don't allow the workers to do that anymore also they never said that they have took pictures before they cleaned out the car sadly most people are upset about repos but they can never say that when I contacted them about getting my items I was never rude,angry ,or hostel at no point with them also I have never seen a company that tells you that you have to make an appointment to pick up your things also I contacted them the day the car was picked up and never got an response I had to call them several times so they never offers to show me pictures honestly I know what was all in the car
Per CFPB compliance laws and client contracts, customers are required to make an appointment to retrieve their personal items, or their vehicles. It is for our safety and the security of our office. We are not an "open to the public" business. We work directly for the finance companies and have to follow our contracts to the letter. Sadly, the customer was very rude to our Receptionist, and our Assistant Manager; we record calls to be able to monitor our employees interactions with customers and clients. After reviewing the calls my judgement was that the customer was extremely rude and abrasive from the very beginning of our interactions.The owners of the company do not clean out the cars. The owner is not on premises every day. The owner's wife is the General Manager. There is a dedicated employee position at our company that handles personal property in order to have personal responsibility among our employees and accountability for our business. We have never had a complaint filed like this before, and it is beyond me why anyone would steal one shoe from a pair. As I stated before there was no [redacted] recovered and I would encourage this customer to use the security features to lock her phone and track it if it truly is missing. Also, our company is not required to share pictures with the customer once their car has been repossessed, those pictures are for the client, but I would be happy to email them to this customer, along with the inventory list of items retrieved during the clean out process. Again, we will not be awarding this customer any monies based on this complaint. Thank you and have a nice day.
