This company is horrible. They are very rude. They take your car and keep it for days stating it is because the appointment are booked for pick up for up to about 7 days. The main thing the owner always say is that they work for the finance company. However when we talk to the finance companies. If that is the case, they should only deal with the fianance company and the finance company should be responsible for making sure our cars are returned to the consumer in a safe and sufficient time. I had my encounter with this company almost a year ago. However I can see that people are still complaining about the horrible business practices of this company, The owner is very rude when you talk to her on the phone or through email. They have had numerous reviews about this company on google but Im sure they were able to have them removed. As much as possible I will leave a review because it is added stress that this company add to the life of an everyday consumer.
Today September 30, 2022 I contacted Asset Recovery for my car that has been at their property due to repo on this morning. I already made the payment to my finance company to have my car released. When I spoke with Maria she stated that she has no received the release. However when William and Keisha had Loss Prevention stated that the release had been sent. Keisha even stated that she called over to verify it was received but got no answer. I told Maria that since the repo was done today. I took care of all the fees today, why cant I get the vehicle today to avoid any storage or future penalties. I'm sure if the companies see I am having financial difficulties, that I will have more seeing that I use my car to make money. Maria told me this is the ramifications of getting a repo. I didn't know that I have to be punished for not having money. I didn't know that Assess Resolutions is going around punishing people for having troubles in life. We all have them my trouble just may look a little different from others. I am so disappointed in the customer service and how this company is treating this situation. Even if you have to have a scheduled appointment. Ten days is just extremely too long. If the company cannot handle the car they pick up. I mean you can hire more staff or take less cares instead of be an inconvenience or giving people your personal ramifications

Per CFPB compliance laws and client contracts, customers are required to make an appointment to retrieve their personal items, or their vehiclesIt is for our safety and the security of our officeWe are not an "open to the public" businessWe work directly for the finance companies and have to follow our contracts to the letterSadly, the customer was very rude to our Receptionist, and our Assistant Manager; we record calls to be able to monitor our employees interactions with customers and clientsAfter reviewing the calls my judgement was that the customer was extremely rude and abrasive from the very beginning of our interactions. The owners of the company do not clean out the carsThe owner is not on premises every dayThe owner's wife is the General ManagerThere is a dedicated employee position at our company that handles personal property in order to have personal responsibility among our employees and accountability for our businessWe have never had a complaint filed like this before, and it is beyond me why anyone would steal one shoe from a pairAs I stated before there was no [redacted] recovered and I would encourage this customer to use the security features to lock her phone and track it if it truly is missingAlso, our company is not required to share pictures with the customer once their car has been repossessed, those pictures are for the client, but I would be happy to email them to this customer, along with the inventory list of items retrieved during the clean out processAgain, we will not be awarding this customer any monies based on this complaintThank you and have a nice day
