I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
1) the patient's walker WAS transported with the patient and Assist Ambulance personnel failed to deliver it The Assist Ambulance staff members' denial is no surprise; it is perfectly consistent with their unacceptable modus operandi throughout the day
2) according to the hospital, the piof the patient by Assist Ambulance was at 4:pm---giving Assist Ambulance the benefit of the doubt and assuming they were on time, it should have taken no more than 1-1/hours to hours, even during rush hour, to arrive at the right destination That means they should have been at the desired and correct destination no later than pm ---Instead they arrived at the WRONG destination at almost pmIf we subtract 4:pm from 9:pm, we come up with hours Furthermore
3) The ambulance service provider NEVER found the correct address In point of fact, I found them!!!!!! After receiving a final, desperate call from my sister, the patient --I went in search of them and by a stroke of luck, I found them in a parking lot in the back of a building at the WRONG address The doors to the ambulance were wide open on an autumn night, without regard for the patient's welfare or comfort, and the the two ambulance staff members were standing outside doing absolutely nothing to find the RIGHT location

Please be advised that after interviewing our crew members, they both denied transporting  a walker along with the customer. 
They also stated that the GPS system they were using misdirected them and therefore the 2 hour trip in rush hour took them 3 hours.

Assist Ambulance

Review: On 10/*/14, Assist Ambulance was asked by the [redacted] to transport a patient, my sister, to a medical rehab facility in **. The exact trip should take about 1 to 1/2 hours- no longer. I drove the exact trip that very day myself. Yet the ambulance personnel were lost for almost 5 hours. When asked by my sister over her cell to speak with me to obtain correct driving directions, the driver refused. In response to a final desperate cell phone call from the patient many hours later, telling me she thought they might be in a nearby parking lot somewhere, I exited the correct address and went looking for them in the area of the rehab facility. By a stroke of luck, I found them standing outside the vehicle in a parking lot in the back of a building with a incorrect address -- they had arrived at an incorrect location, nearly 5 hours after starting out, despite the fact that they had been given the correct address more than once! My sister's [redacted], she was hungry (she is [redacted]), and she needed a bathroom facility. She was frightened by this horrible ordeal, and lay vulnerable and helpless on a gurney in the care of two incompetent people. They refused to give me their names when. I expressed my displeasure with them. That evening, I tried to contact their superior by phone, and did manage to speak with a person who I think may be named [redacted]--he said he would call me back last Thursday, 10/*/14. He did not. I tried unsuccessfully to reach him on Friday, [redacted]. He did not return my phone calls. Additionally, my sister's walker was left aboard the ambulance, and I called the ambulance service immediately to report it and ask them to return it. They claimed they did not have it. I believe this is an absolute lie. To add insult to injury, they charged my credit card $70 for this horrible ordeal. I think that the Revdex.com might wish to take a long, hard look into the workings of this business. I would be happy to talk with a Revdex.com representative further.Desired Settlement: I have reported this horrible ordeal to my credit card company, and have disputed the credit card charge. I believe that the charge should be waived and that the ambulance company should pay in full for a proper replacement walker which they did not deliver. I have also reported this episode to the [redacted]. They can decide whether they want to associate with this company any longer.
