My parents have both been on Aid and Attendance thru the VA since first applying for my disabled mother in May It took about or months to start receiving benefitsTyso Olivo from Assisted Family Care in Smyrna actually met us at a Cracker Barrel close to our home to fill out the forms and get us startedI had tried to apply on our own but was deniedHe told me what papers to bring and my parents came along also to meet Tyson and sign any papersMy dad's health declined and we then had to apply for him in May and again received our benefits in a short period of timeTyson handled all of our paper work once again and did a great jobUnfortionately we lost our dad in February and had to reapply for our mom to have the Aid and AttendanceTyso was right on it and in about months our benefits started back along with any back pay from the date of applyingTyson has always been in the help mode for usAlso I might add their main goal is to suit our needs and get a care worker in the home that works well with usOverall I would and have recommended Assisted Family Care services to other familiesWe appreciate their office continually working with us!
