Re: *** * *** Complaint #***Dear *** ***,Mr*** contacted Associated Credit Service on August 14, to make arrangements for monthly paymentsWe agreed to $monthly payments due by the 14th each month, starting September 14, The
$payment was received on September 15, 2017, as agreedThe statute of limitations was renewed on that date We appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter.Sincerely,Jon S*President

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:On 11-19-I told them I would make payments but they needed to send me monthly reminders, I was told they couldn't do that it was not their policy9-8-I did not say I wouldn't call back- I did once again ask them to send me a monthly statement and they refusedI don't know who told them *** would not call them back because if they were already talking to me it would not be necessary for them to talk to himAs far as leaving messages and our voice mail being full I will debate that one because we only get messages once in awhile and then delete themNever had a problem with getting messages beforeI cannot find any record of us paying on 2-28-or on 10.22, I don't know where these figures are coming from but they seem to be a very odd amountOn 4-27-Associated Credit said that *** told them he would not pay them, what he said was " I will not pay this unless you send us a billYes I was upset at the bill that was sent, not because they sent it, because it was three times what we owe the hospital billIt was almost three hundred dollars more then what we owe on the billI did call and talked to Bernadette, yes I was upset at the way they let go on for so long just to get us to pay lots of interest, I told her that if they had sent me a monthly bill like I asked for it would have been paid way before nowAll she could say was thats not how we do it and its up to me to remember, I told her I have a lot of other medical bills and have dealt with other collection agencies and they sent me a monthly statement and they got paidShe told me thats not how we do business and we don't have tooI told her that was a stupid ***way to run a businessYes I did say that several times because all she told me is I owed the money and I would have to pay it no matter what I thought and yes I did hang up on herThey said failure to respond was the reason for it going to collection, that was not the reason, not being able to pay a large sum of money was the reasonWe have been dealing with collection agencies since due to fact that *** is a heart transplant and has medical continuously and eventually we get them paid off only because they send a monthly reminder, Which they refuse to do
Sincerely,*** ***

Subject: Re: [redacted]We received an e-mail request from [redacted] on December 15, 2016, at 3:01 PM, regarding a joint account. She stated that this account was included in her bankruptcy filed April 19, 2016.                  ...

Bankruptcy is part of a person's Credit Bureau Report. Our report to the Credit Bureau is accurate. In [redacted] e-mail, she requested this account be reported as closed due to the bankruptcy. This is contrary to standard practice and Credit Bureau procedure. We reviewed this joint account and the responsibilities of both parties. We decided that we can help [redacted] improve her credit profile. As a courtesy to [redacted], on December 19, 2016, at 1:05 PM, we requested this item be deleted from her Credit Bureau Report. On December 21, 2016, at 12:53 PM, we e-mailed [redacted] that we have requested this item be deleted from her Credit Bureau Report. This can take up to 30 days for the Credit Bureau to comply. We received an e-mail from [redacted] on January 18, 2017, at 10:44 AM, stating the account is still appearing on her Credit Bureau Report as open. As a courtesy to [redacted], on January 19, 2017, at 10:03 AM, we followed up by requesting this item be deleted from her Credit Bureau Report with Experian, Equifax and Trans Union. We hope this resolves this matter. Please let me know if there is anything more we can do to help.

Review: Recently I have tried to obtain a mortgage loan. I wasdenied due to a collection on my credit report from Associated Credit Services. I never received letter from this agency prior tothem reporting to the credit bureaus. I sent them adebt validation letter, to which I received a very basicresponse that still doesn't prove that the debt is mine. I do not believe I owe this debt and the methods ofwhich I have tried to get validation (Certified debt validation letter, fax, 2nd certified debt validation have not proven that I owethis debt. As a consumer, I feel that this agency atleast owes me the consideration of showing solidproof that the alleged debt is mine. I appreciate anyassistance you may offer in reference to this matter.Desired Settlement: Deleted from my credit report
