Review: Back in Oct of 2011 I repeatedly tried reaching my insurance Agent Danielle C[redacted] with ASSOCIATED INSURANCE MANAGEMENT, INC. concerning questions pertaining to my grandmothers condo insurance. My grandmother received a renewal notice and we were interested in increasing her policy. A Cancellation Notice arrived by mail from ATLANTIC SPECIALTY LINES, INC. I called Atlantic Specialty Lines and was told they were NOT the insurance co, but the insurance Broker. I expedited the payment so my grandmother's insurance was not cancelled. Unfortunately the search for Ms. C[redacted] caused her policy to laps....which was no fault of my grandmother's.

YESTERDAY, JULY 27, 2014 the pipe under the bathroom sink burst! With water gushing everywhere we attempted to stop the water flow. To no avail my husband ran to the basement and shut the water off to the entire building. We called the building Engineer, 911 Restoration, and ProServe. The building engineer and 911 Resoration came out. ASSOCIATED INSURANCE MANAGEMENT, INC. does NOT have a 1-800 number. Once again there was only Danielle Claybourne's voice mail. My husband and I did what we could to prevent any further damage. TODAY, MONDAY JULY 28, 2014 I called Gail Rogers of ASSOCIATED INSURANCE MANAGEMENT, INC, and Adrian's voice mail came on. Adrian's voice mail suggested contacting Mat. I called Mat and was able to speak with a person. Mat said he'll have the Claims Manager, Lynne T[redacted]r return the call. Another Agent called, NOT Danielle C[redacted], but Brian H[redacted] and said that he would submitt the claim forms to Atlantic Speciality Lines, who in turn said an adjuster will contact me within 48 hours.

It's going on 16 hours since the incident occured and the wet carpet is still sitting. The condo below is vacant, so we have no idea if there are damages. I was told over and over that this is their process. IS IT TO MUCH TO ASK FOR A 1-800 NUMBER TO CALL IN CASE OF EMERGENCIES?? We will search for a new insurance company once this ordeal is over.Desired Settlement: A Guarantee that there will not be any MOLD in the floors after the condo has been cleaned, repaired and new carpet has been installed.
