Associated Neurologists of Southern Connecticut Reviews (2)

Review: Recently, due to work, I have had to cancel two appointments with Associated Neurologists of Southern CT. As I cannot know in advance that I will be held up at work, both appointments were cancelled the day of. I have now received invoices from them indicating that I am being charged a "no show" fee - one of $75 and one of $50 - totaling $125.00. I totally disagree with this practice, these were NOT no shows, I called to cancel the appointments as I had to work and to be charged this outrageous fee is a slap in the face. How many times do people set doctors appointments to be held in the waiting room for sometimes more than an hour and do I get compensated for that? No, but I can be charged an extra fee due to a cancelled appointment and then they use a misleading code of "no show" which implies that I just did not come to the appointmentDesired Settlement: Reverse the charges and bring my account balance back to $0

Review: I have never been treated so horribly by a business in my entire life.Attitude along with no answer and no help.

I have never been treated so terribly by a business in my entire life. I have paid every single month on time and never been late for a payment, yet every time I call I get attitude and no help. I have called about twice a month for the past six months, and every time I get a different amount as to how much I owe. When I have asked them to fix the problem they said they cannot, even though it is the billing department I am dealing with. When I have asked for a list of everything so I could properly understand what it is I owe exactly, they have failed to ever send me out one in the six months I have been dealing with them. I have asked for this probably at least 10 times in the past. When I tell them that every time I call I get a different amount owed, they tell me they don't understand how that could happen and that they can't help me. Also, when I ask the women their names so I can refer to how much they told me I owed in the next call I know I'm going to be making, they won't give me their names. When I am told I will get a call on a certain day, it never comes and three days later I am forced to call and follow up, even though every time I do I get berated with attitude and mean comments. I am not one to get worked up, but the last conversation I had with them, I just snapped. I am trying to give them my hard earned money, and they don't even have the decency to treat me with respect. I went there after suffering an assault, and here I am getting victimized all over again. I am extremely upset with the service I have received and I would really just like to know how much money I actually owe. It is all computerized anyway, so I don't understand how it could be a different number every time. I haven't gotten help from the billing department and so now I am trying here. I told the woman there that I was going to do this and they disregarded it. If I still don't receive a response from this, I'm going to have to address the fact that associated neurology have broken a contract. I have paid every month as discussed in return for proper service and treatment. The fact that I have not received that is appalling and I will be sure to let everyone I know know what a horrible facility they are and I will never be going there again. I am honestly just down right disappointed because the secretaries and the doctors and nurses were all some of the nicest people I have ever met. It truly is a shame that they are being brought down by rude, nasty, and downright mean people in their billing department. There is no excuse to treat a human being the way I have been treated by those women.Desired Settlement: I would like an apology by someone higher than the billing department and the proper amount I owe with it all laid out so I can see what exactly it is I am paying for. That's all.
