I am charged fraudulently for Outpatient Procedures/services for inpatient services in the Er on 8/10/12. Inpt procedures are covered by my insurance
I was in the ER in 8/10/12,had certain tests including blood and urine work done. My bill was sent to my house with procedure code stating that these tests were done as Outpatient and therefore my insurance didn't cover it as they do cover ER procedures. I have been on the phone with the billing service since the last year attempting to clarify that this is an ER bill. Then last two people I spoke with was [redacted] and [redacted] All the people I spoke with [redacted] reassured me that it was an error on their part and "it will be taken care of" because supposedly the insurance refused the resubmit from the Lab Office company as too much time had passed. [redacted] told me she will call me with whether the insurance will accept the claim or not and if not then the bill will be a write off. [redacted] never called me and I didn't receive another bill til this week.
