Associates Animal Hospital Reviews (1)

I brought my sick indoor lone 18 yr old cat here with the understanding that a blood test for possible diabetes or hyperthyroid issue would be done. She had fasted for 12 hours. She had symptoms of drinking too much water, weight loss and being overly hungry. The appt was with a technician. Instead I was faced with a very stern looking Dr Gillham informing me that she was going to give a Rabies vaccination to my cat first as it was overdue! Rabies vaccinations are known to be dangerous-especially for an older cat, and especially for a sick one!! She had left me a message to inform that she was changing my appt so that she could give her this shot. I called back and was reassured by her assistant that the visit was for the fasting blood sugar/thyroid test only. I had been tricked by this Witch of a "Vet"! I told her that she should know that a sick cat should not have this vaccination. Her response was that it was a state law. No caring or compassion for my cat or me!!! I couldn't get out of there fast enough! She was just like a witch about to grab my cat!
