Associates Plumbing of Virginia, Inc Reviews (1)
Review: I contacted this plumbing company in June 2013 to investigate a main drain sewage problem. They were to camera the line to see why there was a continuous back-up. They came out and could not get the camera down the main line to take any pictures. As such I had to contact another comp-pany to do the job. The second company came out in June 2013 and with got a camera down the main sewage line, took pictures, advised what the problem was, contacted DCWASA and advised how to take care of the issue until DCWASA could fix the problem. Associates Plumbing still wants me to pay them after they could not do the job. I had to pay another company to do. Which I gladly paid this company sine they did do the job. Additionally, if the second technician did the job that is a clear sign that the job could be done had the right technician done the job.Desired Settlement: I want this company to stop billing me for a job I had to pay someone else to do.

Please be advised that Associates Plumbing of Virginia inc. will credit the invoiced amount of $450.00. We responded to [redacted]'s sewer problem in part due to 3 request from her regular plumber ** of [redacted] Plumbing and [redacted].
** of [redacted] Plumbing asked if we could take our camera and locator to [redacted]'s residence as his
company did not own this type of equipment. ** did not want us to snake the sewer as he had already done so and [redacted] already paid him. We agreed that our video equipment would be charged at our standard rate of $150.00 per/hr. with a three hour mini mum, thus the minimum charge to [redacted] to come out to her residence would be $450.00. All parties agreed and we scheduled to go out to [redacted]'s residence on June 10,2013.
When our plumber arrived the sewer line was stopped up and we cannot get a picture if the line is stopped up but we were able to locate a spot in the sewer at the 22' mark in which we were unable to pass. We located this spot and suggested that our drain division send a crew to attempt to clean the line with a hydro-jet drain cleaning machine.
[redacted] apparently called another company the next day and they were able to get the sewer cleared but also had trouble getting past the same spot both API and [redacted] plumbing had trouble with as well.
I spoke to [redacted] today and she has agreed to send me a copy of the invoice for the other company she used the next day.
