Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/02/01) */
I have contacted the renters and informed them that I would relieve them from their lease on January 31, unless I could find a new renter prior to this timeI am refunding the deposit since she did not get her job and is having a hardship
The rental permit is pending with the city of OtsegoNo violations have been reportedAssociation Resource Group LLC is a licensed Real Estate Company with the State of MinnesotaAny concerns have been addressed and agreed upon with rentersTo date we have not received the keys or garage door openerWe did speak with the attorney regarding this matter
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/02/02) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
In response to her claim of reliving us from our lease on January 31, unless finding a renter sooner- This is outdated information as of Today, February 2, when she had contacted us, also we never saw them make the effort soonerThere was nothing posted on Craigslist.com- the same place they posted the original ad
This is what we were told by Julie- Your lease was guaranteed to June 30, This is a short term lease and you are aware that the association foreclosed on this propertyYet they did not go about this procedure correctly- See parenthesis(According to MN Statute 504B.151: Before entering into a lease and accepting any rent or security deposit from a tenant, the landlord must notify the prospective tenant in writing the date on which the contract cancellation period or the mortgagor's redemption period endsComplaint for entering into a lease in foreclosure without the proper notifications and also states a landlord who violates the requirements in this statute is liable to the lessee for a civil penalty of $This property was well into the foreclosure proceeding before you entered into an illegal lease with usWe found out that the foreclosure legal notice was published in the Herald Journal on November 16, 23, 30, December 7, and 21, Date and time of sale was listed as January 19, 2016.)
If they had gone about this the right way we would not have had to had the keys and locks replaced as the inspection if it had been done prior to us signing the lease would have noticed the safety issues involved
We were told this unit was move in ready- when we arrived to sign the lease the place was a disasterWhen asked to make the necessary changes they cleaned some things but never finished painting as promised
In response her missing the keys and garage door opener- they did not ask for it, as we had not heard a word from them in WEEKSWe will be dropping the keys and door opener within the week
Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 17, 2016/02/22) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
We came to a mutual agreement with the company and everything has been resolved
Final Business Response /* (4000, 15, 2016/02/22) */
We have come to a meeting of the minds and all is resolved

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I have been corresponding with [redacted] regarding his concerns(see attached).  Unfortunately, I am unable to do repairs or provide services without board approval.  This information has been sent to the Board of Directors and they will be reviewing options and necessary repairs in the...

spring. Upon construction of the homes there was not gutters installed on the homes, therefore, it is not part of the responsibilities of the association until they are approved and installed. The association did not budget for installation of gutters throughout the neighborhood as outlined in the emails attached. There was hail damage last year that will be repaired this spring as well, this occurred to the roofs and some miscellaneous areas throughout.   Again, ARG will be reviewing the property for necessary repairs in the spring.  Once the board has decided on what repairs they would like completed, ARG will obtain bids to allow the board to determine which company they would like to complete approved repairs. Once I have this information I will be able to assist the homeowner with their concerns. His monthly fees are paid to the Association not to ARG.  ARG only collects payments and they are deposited into the Associations account. ARG completes tasks as directed by the Board of Directors.
