Review: Over the course of the last six months dealing with Assorted Trim and Door we've encountered countless problems and issues. Ranging from lack of communication to orders not being placed in a timely fashion.

They will not acknowledge any wrong doing on their part....and are now treating legal action over payment dispute.Desired Settlement: I would like Assorted Trim and Door to acknowledge we are paid in full and seek no further collection actions.

I ordered a replacement door from Assorted Trim & Door, 2662 Packerland Drive, Green Bay, WI 54313. It was a double front entry door with decorative glass down the center of each door. When it arrived, it had the wrong glass inserts and just imagine this; the active (opening door) and the passive (fixed door) were reversed. I wanted the right side to open, but it’s fixed. I wanted the left side fixed, but it opens. It’s taken a year to get the issue resolved and the Court just ruled that I made the mistake of allowing the door to be installed. The Court stated that since I allowed the door to be installed, it constituted acceptance. What else could I do? The old door was already removed, the opening resized and there was a gaping hole in the front of my residence where a door should be. I allowed the door to be installed thinking that Assorted Trim and Door would do the right thing and correct their mistake. Boy was I wrong. I was ordered to pay Assorted Trim & Door $1,194 for a door I didn’t order and don’t want. The glass was swapped out for the glass I ordered, but Assorted Trim and Door left the frame unfinished. That’s now my responsibility, at my cost; probably another $100. What a waste of money.

I could have gone to a big box like Home Depot or Lowes, but I wanted to help a local merchant; you know, the little guy. What a mistake it was to work with Assorted Trim and Door. The owner couldn’t differentiate right from left or inside from out, even thought it was drawn out for him. Why make the same mistake I made. You can buy what Assorted Trim and Door sells at many other stores, so why take the risk of being disappointed?
