Review: I called to cancel our auto insurance policy and tell them the name of our new company on August 25 effective the next day August 26, 2016. They sent us a form to fill out to have on file. The monthly fee was still taken out of my account on September 6. I called Assurance Associates on September 6 and left a message on the machine that said they would call back in one hour during the business day....no call back. I contacted my bank and Assurance Associates and there is a processing time to return money. If I pay in a timely fashion.. why can't they? I want a refund and an apology.Desired Settlement: If there are any negative charges to my checking account due to this unexpected charge, I want a letter and the fees covered in addition to my refund. They should have cancelled it on the day 8/26 I was able to give them my new policy number and company.
