Review: I need to change a kitchen faucet. After the plumber finished, he leave with me a $275 bill and a kitchen faucet that cold water come from the red dot side and hot water come from the blue dot side, plus the handle can't turn all the way to the blue dot side. We asked him to correct the issue, but he said he will charge another $200 for this.Desired Settlement: Ask another plumber to come back to correct the issue for free.

Response:
In regards to the incident
on June 25th, 2014. Our
plumber went to the home to install a faucet purchased by the home owner.
The faucet was purchased
from the Republic of China. (We have
pictures to prove this). We do not know
if the colored dots on the faucet that indicate hot and cold are mismarked or
if they are reversed in China. The
faucet was installed correctly to American standards being hot on the left,
cold on the right.
It required additional
parts as the risers that came with it were not long enough.
Everything was working
properly on the faucet including the handles when the plumber was
finished. It was tested in front of the
homeowner and they saw that it worked.
The plumber while doing all the work was explaining it to the homeowner. When he had finished installing and testing
he wrote up his invoice and was once again explaining to the home owner why the
hot and cold indicators were mismarked and that her additional charge for the
installation and parts came to $70.48.
She then became extremely aggressive, the plumber then told her he was
leaving and the office would send her the bill.
Explanation of charges on
invoice: All agreed to be for starting
the installation.

This brought the total

She then physically
assaulted the plumber ripping his shirt, grabbing his snap pack and throwing
his papers all over the floor. As he was
trying to get his paper work picked up and get out of there she continued to
assault him.
The company has both
copies to the invoice that she tore and crumpled up. We had decided just let the incident go,
but since she has decided to pursue this, the plumber will be filing assault
charges with the police department.
