We are contractors to Home Warranty of America and work for them to service their policy holders We received a dispach claim for Mrs [redacted] and sent a technician to her home When the technicial arrived, Mrs [redacted] was not home and Mr [redacted] and my tech communicated He assessed the problem and found it beyond our scope to repair/replace and over our Not To Exceed repair price We collected the $service fee as indicated on our dispach request without any resistance from Mr [redacted] Our next move was to prepare a quote for HWA after receiving from a duct expert and report to them We do not discuss pricing with the homeowners so there was no need for any further communication until HWA called to discuss their repairs We advised HWA after receiving the quote from duct company and told them of Mrs [redacted] 's phone message that we would be refunding her $service fee.As far as her check being deposited into a personal account, Mrs [redacted] is wrong as indicated by the check copy, front and back attached to this report Also, if there were any unfavorable reports on us I have never been made aware of them We did not steal the customer's money and were acting as requested by HWA I consider this to be closed and no further communication will be made with Mrs [redacted] on this matter
