RevDex.com Complaint ID # Miriam Carmona Resolution Specialist *** *** DearMsCarmona, My name is Todd Shaw; I am the Compliance Manager for our company First Equity Alliance located in Riverside CAI am responding to a Revdex.com Complaint that was issued 4/06/In the complaint Mr***’s complaint is as follows: Customer’s Statement of the Problem: Being harassed About A Bill that I paid in full Back on 10-10-paid to integrity Solution services for A shop NBC Account #8***-Paid in Full check #1**Now it's more than four years later And they saying I owe AgainAs Compliance Manager for First Equity Alliance, I have pulled all of the recordings of the communications between Mr*** and First Equity Alliance and was reviewed and monitored and my findings to the conversation are as followsOn 3/9/First Equity Alliance mailed a Validation Notice to *** *** notifying Mr*** of the above claim being assigned to this office for collection and gave him days to notify our company if there was a dispute of the debt or any portion thereofOn 3/13/our office received a call from Mr*** and was transferred to a Mr*** with our companyIn the conversation Mr*** spoke briefly with Mr*** saying he received a letter from our company pertaining to a GE account and was saying that he never had a GE account ever in his life that there was some mistakeMr*** put Mr*** on a brief hold and was able to pull up the fileMr*** proceeded to discuss further with Mr*** that he did indeed have an account with GE Retail account identified as a GE Retail- Shop NBC accountThis account was opened on 5/13/and maintained the account in good standing until 1/11/On 1/11/Mr***’s account was charged-off to collection as an unpaid account and was reported the major credit bureausMr*** proceeded to yell at our representative said that he will go to court because he never had an account with GE Retail- Shop NBC and said he was going to have his attorney contact our company and hung up the phoneThere were no more communications madeAs Compliance Manager I reviewed all of the recordings and all communications with Mr*** and found that there were no violations of the (FDCPA) Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and found that there were no wrong doings except Mr***’s position that he never had an account with GE Retail- Shop NBCOn 3/15/*** *** filed a complaint with the (Revdex.com) The Revdex.comAccording to the Revdex.com the complaint came back as UNANSWEREDIn review of the complaint file on 3/15/I noticed that the Revdex.com had mailed the complaint to an incorrect address that Revdex.com had First Equity Alliance was located in Corona CA at a unknown Suite # The reason First equity Alliance did not respond in a timely manner was because the complaint was mailed to a incorrect addressAt that time I spoke with the Revdex.com representative MsCarmona and advised her of the incorrect mailing address In Mr***’s complaint he stated that he did in fact have and account with GE Retail- Shop NBC in and on 10/10/Mr*** claims he paid the GE Retail- Shop NBC account off to a collection agency by the name of Integrity Solutions using check # Mr*** on saying that GE Retail was trying to go after him again years later and trying to make him pay twiceAs Compliance Manager I felt this matter needed to have additional information obtained to verify if indeed Mr*** had paid this account in full to a collection agency named Integrity SolutionsPer Mr*** and his statements that he paid this account off on 10/10/I need to get with Mr*** to see if he has any proof of the debt being paidI would request a copy of a settlement letter confirming that this account was paid in fullI would like to see a copy of a cancelled check so I can go to GE Retail and see if they had used such collection agency in the past and to verify if in deed this account was paidAs an addition, I would like to speak to Mr*** personally and discuss this matter furtherI would like to give Mr*** instructions to do a “Chain of Title” as Mr*** can contact GE Retail directly and if they did use a collection agency name Integrity Solutions and Mr*** did indeed pay another agency then GE Retail will give Mr*** the name and phone number to that agency so Mr*** can contact them and get a letter of settlement from them showing proof of payment in fullI would have Mr*** request a letter from Integrity Solutions so we can get a copy of such letter to verify whether or not Mr*** indeed paid this account off Additionally, on 2/21/our client Assured Financial Partners purchased this account through a broker company named Bayview SolutionsAs part of my due diligence on 4/24/I emailed our broker Bayview Solutions to see why they would sell us an account that was already paidBayview Solutions said they also obtained this account through another company that they will contact up the chain to verify who indeed Integrity Solution was and if indeed this account is paidAs an addition, I spoke to the Revdex.com about First Equity Alliance‘s position in this matter and advised we were the current creditor of record that we have all right interest and title to this account and would need Mr*** to make some necessary steps to get the information needed to prove this account has been paid.
