We scheduled an appointment through Assured Heating & Air because our home warranty through [redacted] of [redacted] had them as one of their vendorsWe did have to pay $for this, and I am extremely glad we didn't give them a penny more though I would've preferred to have given them nothing because they were pretty much uselessOur heat went out on a Saturday night, and apparently they don't have an emergency team so they didn't come to our house until MondayEven then they were a few hours lateWithin minutes they said our circuit board was broken and that they would have to order us a new one, which would take days to receive and installSo they pretty much expected us to go without heat for a few days and offered no other alternatives Luckily, we called another company on the same day who came out within the hour and was able to get our heat back on in minutesThey found the problem right away (a blown fuse) and explained the whole process to usWhen we told them what Assured had done, they were baffledFrom what I can gather, Assured seems to have this deal through [redacted] , which is like guaranteed business for them so they don't seem to care about their terrible customer service or even providing accurate informationThey would have put us in the hole for $for something we didn't even need because they seem to lack any knowledge about their own jobsWe will never use them again and shame on [redacted] for referring such a horrible company

I was SO pleased with the service at Assured Heating and Air! Despite some difficulties working through my home warranty company, Assured Heating and Air was efficient, empathetic and professionalDuring the time my AC unit was not working, the staff took my desperate calls with grace and did everything they could to expedite the processI am super confident in this company and would recommend them to everyone!

For three summers, I crippled my HVAC system along by adding Freon, knowing that a system twenty years old was working on borrowed timeDuring the latest heat wave, the system iced up again and quit blowing cold air Within an hour of calling Assured, their tech Chris arrived, gassed the system once again and got me through the next two days in comfortRather than throwing more good money after bad, I realized it was time for a new system Two days after the latest freeze up, Assured installers Chuck and Blaine arrived, and, within four and a half hours, my new system was up and runningBoth techs were cordial, knowledgeable, and competent Three hours after they left, the new unit was cooling at my desired temperature of degrees Even with an outside heat index of plus degrees, Chuck and Blaine worked steadily without complaintThe total price was competitive and fair I could not have asked for a better experience during such a trying time

I was assigned Assured by Home WarrantyThey were HORRIBLEA guy named Caycee told me a cleaning service was under the Home WarrantyHe then went into my attic and fell through my attic, ruining renovations I had just made to my living roomNow Tom, who owns the company, is saying I have to pay for the cleaning service because it was never under warrantyHome Warranty has been awful as well, saying that they can't send anyone out to fix my AC unit until I pay AssuredI called to pay and also to tell Tom that he was treating me horrible, and that I didn't think he was a good person for itHe hung up on meWhen you scam people, the least you can do is let them vent at you for a few minutes, and trust me I was using my calm teacher voice and wasn't even yellingI wish I had read half the reviews on this yelp page before ever agreeing to let Assured come outIf you are reading this page, please, PLEASE do yourself a favor, have a different AC and Heating service come out

We did have to pay $60 for this, and I am extremely glad we didn't give them a penny more though I would've preferred to have given them nothing because they were pretty much useless. Our heat went out on a Saturday night, and apparently they don't have an emergency team so they didn't come to our house until Monday. Even then they were a few hours late. Within 5 minutes they said our circuit board was broken and that they would have to order us a new one, which would take days to receive and install. So they pretty much expected us to go without heat for a few days and offered no other alternatives.

Luckily, we called another company on the same day who came out within the hour and was able to get our heat back on in 15 minutes. They found the problem right away (a blown fuse) and explained the whole process to us. When we told them what Assured had done, they were baffled. From what I can gather, Assured seems to have this deal through [redacted], which is like guaranteed business for them so they don't seem to care about their terrible customer service or even providing accurate information. They would have put us in the hole for $450 for something we didn't even need because they seem to lack any knowledge about their own jobs. We will never use them again and shame on [redacted] for referring such a horrible company.

Even with an outside heat index of 100 plus degrees, Chuck and Blaine worked steadily without complaint. The total price was competitive and fair. I could not have asked for a better experience during such a trying time.
