I contracted with ASI for a driveway patch and seal, shutter removal and reinstallation, and trimming of shrubbery along a sidewalk I walked the property with the owner of the company and described the work I was requesting The work was written up and with an estimate After the work period ended, I contacted the owner to note the driveway was sealed, but not patched - or the patching was minimal Neither the owner nor the company contacted me I subsequently discovered that the trimming I requested was not done Over a month later, I received a bill that not only included the work not performed, but also added on non-specifed materials that were not previously discussed or mentioned in the estimate Having previous experience with this business not keeping accurate records and charging for work not performed, I contacted them about the descrepancies I spelled out exactly what the differences were, and even pointed out where their records contained ambiguity that explained t

In February 2015 we experienced a flood in our home. ASI was sent by the management agency to mitigate the damage. They were to do the entire job from beginning to end. We live in an upscale condo where the workmanship was high level. I had reservations as to wether ASI had the skills necessary to carry out the work. I was correct in this observation. I was originally told they would be done in 5 days - then 8 more for a total of 13 days. It took them just shy of SEVEN WEEKS. In that time they managed to fail at reinstalling the custom backsplash they removed. They lacked the skills to complete it. The president of the company called the bronze medallion inlays that were an intrgal part of the original custom backsplash "goofy" while trying to defend his position when his "best man" totally failed at replicating the custom backsplah they tore out. After reinstalling the lower cabinets and granite counter tops I found that they did not remove the shims from the previous leveling raising the cabinet level about 1/2 to 3/4". Now my standup mixer will not fit on the countertop because it strikes the upper cabinets. All in all the skill sets of the personnel that were assigned to this job were basic at best. If the same situation occurs again ASI will not come near my home. They don't show up when scheduled and have to go to Lowe's or Home Depot most morings they are supposed to work to get materials to do the days work. I guess they no no concept of inventory management. They did not order the carpet until it was to be installed when they knew there was a three week delivery time. This was a terrible, disappointing and expensive experience that no one should have to endure.
