Review: On Friday, March 7 2014 I, [redacted] purchased a car that was priced at $1500. The car was a 2000 [redacted] and was said to have very minor repairs needed. The repairs that were listed on the final sales paper included "minor exhaust leak", "work on windows", "may need new battery", "oil change" and "tune-up". After leaving this lot, the car stopped in the mist of me driving it & not even an hour after purchasing the car I realized that I had been "jipped". I had to have two guys push the car back to my house. I had a mechanic come to my home to inspect the car & he called the seller [redacted] directly to ask why he had sold the car knowing that there were many other issues with the car. The mechanic was told that the car was sold "as is" and basically said that there was nothing that he could do. I replaced the battery ($170), I also replaced the camshaft position sensor which was bad ($120) Spark plugs and finally, (to put the icing on the cake)I was told that the fuel pump was faulty! I asked the men for either a refund or a mechanic to come out to fix the problem and have yet to have any luck!! The car has set outside of my house for 4 days now. Is there any legal matters that I take to get my money back or get this issue resolved? I am not willing to spend another $500 on repairs that the dealer did not make me aware of! Last but not least I had a friend identify the owner of this company as "the same guy that sold him a car & never gave him a title for it". Luckily he got his money back. I on the other hand was not as fortunate!!!Desired Settlement: Although I instantly fell in love with the car I'd rather start off fresh with a dealer that can be truthful and can instantly tell me the cars issues!!
