There has never been a Dr*** working in our office. Please remove from this complaint, redirect it to the right office, and correct this egregious error. You have hours to remove this complaint or my lawyer will sue you for libel

Ms. [redacted] presented to our office on April 28th, 2016 with a tooth ache. Upon an intraoral exam, it was clear that Ms. [redacted] needed dental treatment. She came back on the 29th, we addressed her chief complaint from the day before by performing the needed treatment, and we relieved her of...

pain. Ms. [redacted] made a subsequent appointment in order to continue her treatment. She came in, we discussed her benefits, and we clearly and unambiguously explained that she had enough benefits under her Dentaquest plan to finish fixing one of the cavities she had if she did not want to incur any out-of-pocket costs. She suddenly became very upset that we had not called her ahead of time to inform her of this. She stated, “Why are you treating me like a second class citizen? Is it because I now have Medicaid?” She proceeded to call my front office staff by a racial slur: [redacted]. Racial slurs are never appropriate, and certainly not acceptable in a professional office. I calmly explained to her that her Medicaid benefits, managed by Dentaquest, were limited. As a courtesy to our patients, our office does the utmost to maximize the benefits available to our patients while keeping their costs at a minimum. Every patient that completes our intake forms know that any out-of-pocket costs outside of their benefits are their responsibility. That is why the financial responsibility form is signed by all the patients that come to our office. A patient’s oral health is our utmost concern as dental professionals. Yet, Ms. [redacted] left upset about this. She does not owe any money as all treatment under the $1000 fiscal year benefit is covered under Medicaid. We are not sure what billing issues are unresolved. As for her request to have her treatment finished, we applaud her efforts, but any treatment that exceeds the $1000 fiscal year benefit under Medicaid becomes an out-of-pocket expense that is fully the responsibility of the patient. Again, this was explained to her, and in addition, we explained to her that her Medicaid benefits would renew July 1st, and that she was more than welcome to wait until that date in order to continue treatment while minimizing her out-of-pocket costs. Even at the end of our exhaustive explanation of her benefits, Ms. [redacted] was still upset because she did not understand her Medicaid benefits. I would need to know more details from Ms. [redacted] in order to understand her billing issues. We are not sure what she is disputing regarding her $1000 benefits? We treated her with respect, and billed Medicaid for the services. As stated above, to finish her treatment she would need to pay out of pocket for anything once her Medicaid benefits are used in full or she could wait for July 1st for her Medicaid benefits to start over. Due to her rudeness to our staff, Ms. [redacted] will need to find another dental office for any future treatment as we will not treat her anymore. As I tried to speak to her she was being very unreasonable and rude. It was a simple issue of her not understanding her benefits. This could have been resolved very easily once everything was explained. We could have completed one other filling, and then she could have either paid to finish her treatment or waited until July 1st. Ms. [redacted] blew the whole situation out of proportion and got overly upset and very rude. With the use of her racial slur [redacted] directed at my front staff, we simply cannot see her in our office again. There are plenty of dental offices around the area that accept Medicaid who would be happy to treat her. If she would like a copy showing all her treatment that was completed and billed, we would be happy to comply.

Review: Ever since moving into a new home several months ago, we have received countless 'pink slips' from Mortgage Protection Insurance. The last 2 that I saved have stated "Final Notice" on both. Also stated in accordance with the law is their license number - [redacted]. It clearly states that the first value is the LETTER 'O' (There is a ZERO in the address just after that). I wanted to look them up online and could not locate a single entry for that license number. Come to find out it is [redacted] (With a leading ZERO).

This has been going on for quite some time as I found an article in the [redacted] (online) from September 2007 and they wrote about the exact same license as being misleading [redacted]

In addition to that, the letter is demanding action instead of presenting a sales. "Response Needed" and "Complete and Return" are in bold at the top header. This is not something that is crucial for me to continue to live in my home and should not be labelled as such.Desired Settlement: 1. Reply to my e-mail I sent through your website and acknowledge you read it and will immediately remove the address as requested.

2. Do not contact anyone at my current address or any e-mail address associated with this complaint or webforms/e-mails used to unsubscribe from your mailings.

3. Submit changes to correct your license information on the bottom of any mailings sent out in the future.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because the business refuses to respond to e-mails sent to them that are in regards to stopping with the harassing mailings. Last/Final Notice should mean just that. STOP SENDING them. They also refuse to correct their misleading advertisements with their fake license number. Zero is not equal to the letter 'O'. They even evade that portion of my complaint in their response.

Review: I recently purchased a home. I started receiving unsolicited mail from the Asurea Wholesale Insurance. It had all of my information, including what I paid for my home in plain view in the envelope for everyone to see. I tried calling but you can never get anyone on the telephone, so I left a message to stop sending me letters and to stop calling my home, but to no avail, and I am pissed. I want this to stop immediately. Where did they get all of my information from anyway. It's bad companies like these that makes the consumer hate them.Desired Settlement: I want all letters to cease, and if my information is obtained and used illegally I will file suit against that company.

Final Consumer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

Review: Dear Mortgage Protection Insurance,

I've received a letter in the mail from you. The outside of the envelope says "Dated Material" and "Important Personal and Confidential Information Enclosed". It's an "Important Notice" (a quote from the letter) telling me to "Complete and Return". So I starting reading the letter and it goes on to say "You are entitled to participate in our low cost Mortgage Life Insurance Protection program...no cost obligation".

It's very clear you're trying to sell me something, so this document CLEARLY is NOT an "Important Notice." CAN YOU SAY FALSE ADVERTISING?!?!?! And "DATED MATERIAL"??? It's really terrifying that you write "complete and return" on your letter as if it's required to fill this out and buy the insurance from you. I bet a lot of uneducated people or elderly citizens fall prey to this type of letter all the time, thinking they HAVE to "complete and return" this. That should be illegal for companies like yours to write "Complete and Return", "dated material" and "Important Notice" in the same letter as a sales pitch. It's deceptive. There's nothing "important" about this letter at all.

The real reason I'm writing to you is because I'm getting these types of letters almost every day in the mail now. The amount of letters being sent to me regarding this matter is EXCESSIVE. So every time I receive one, I will be issuing a Revdex.com complaint against each company that sends one.

I am telling you stop sending me these disgustingly-written letters that are trying to sell me insurance. If you don't stop, it's considered harassment and I will pursue further actions if I continue to receive these "Important Notice" letters. Stop trying to trick people with your disgustingly deceptive and slimy sales tactics.

[redacted]Desired Settlement: DO NOT SEND ANY MORE LETTERS OF THIS NATURE TO ME OR ANYONE ELSE. THEY DECEPTIVE AND SLIMY.

Review: Violation of privacy. Their mailing envelope showed amt of "loan" and name of our bank just about our mailing address. Visible for all to see.

We received unsolicited offer for loan insurance. We have no such loan only an equity line of credit which has not been drawn. Their mailing envelope clearly displayed this "loan" amount and the name of our financial institution just above our names and mailing address. Clearly visible for all to see. This violates our right to privacy.Desired Settlement: Company needs to cease use of this mailer. They need to modify it to preclude disclosure of private financial details. If it happened to us, it is happening to everyone they solicit.

Dear Mr. [redacted],

I have received your Revdex.com complaint referencing the mailer you received offering Mortgage Protection Insurance from our company. We apologize for any inconvenience and can inform you that our printing house mistakenly printed some of our letters with the name and loan amount showing in the window. This was an error and has been corrected.

We have removed your name from our mailing lists so that you will not receive any more solicitations, this process can take up to 60 days.

Sincerely,

Review: In July I re-financed my house with the [redacted]. Since then I have been receiving regular mailings from Mortgage Protection Insurance, [redacted]. Though I haven't kept a record of these mailings, I would say they come about every other week. I recognized them as something I'm not interested in and threw them away. But then they started coming in pink. Today's even came with a very official "Dated Material" sticker, looking like registered mail. The top line of the page says "Important Notice to [me]" and the second line says "Complete and Return." The first line below that, looking like a return address, says "Tucson FCU." I object to this kind of deceptive advertising that makes it look like this is offered by, and recommended by, the holder of my mortgage. And I wonder just how many people - especially elderly people - are fooled by these tactics.Desired Settlement: As indicated by the line above, I would like these mailings to me to STOP, to COME TO AN END. And I wouldn't mind seeing a warning to others about these misleading tactics.
