Review: My husband hired the company named, At a Moments Notice Estate Sales. The company is an estate sale specialist. They were suppose to come in the home and sell the items in the home, and try to get the most for some of the items. Then they were to clean out the home. The contract stated it was going take no longer than 20 days from the last day of the sale to get a check and the itinerary. However it took far longer to receive them. The contract also stated the home would be completely cleaned out, which it was not. They left things in the home, but mostly thrown in the garage, which was full. We had to hire someone else to finish what this company was suppose to do. So on top of paying them the clean up fee we also had to pay someone else to finish what they started. Also they sold things for WAY under what he should have gotten for them. Things were missing as well, like tools pool table etc.the itinerary was a list of junk not even a quarter of what was in the home. They also sold a trailer for a semi for $400, a vintage pacman arcade machine for $40. The items not sold were not donated to the charity we stated. When we tried to contact him his number was disconnected, but we did find another number. when we called He never answers any of our calls. I finally got a hold of him from an unknown number and he said couldn't talk and would return my call but never did. He is a very shady guy. His name is [redacted]. I did contact another company for advice, At a Moments Notice Estate Services, and he was extremely helpful. The two company's are not related at all. I just want people to know not to use this company(At a Moments Notice Estate Sales). This was a home of an elderly woman whom had lived in the home for 50+ years. She was a collector, I believe he kept the expensive items and when he sold them pocketed the money.Desired Settlement: We paid a total of 1100. I would like to see a FULL refund. Also this might be asking a little much but it would be nice if we could get some extra money just because the things in the home that would of sold but was not listed like tools, electronics etc.
