Review: This builder has not responded to calls and texts regarding the status of an all house construction job. The builder represented that the project would be complete in March. 2015. It appears that he has abandoned the job leaving the premises in a construction state. He verbally represented to me on September 12 that he would be starting again. No progress has been made. Despite his inaction, he has been paid in full compliance with the terms of the contract.Desired Settlement: The builder has a responsibility to complete the job under the terms of the contract.
Review: Contractor has not returned deposit funds after he was not retained for services. He has ignored phone calls, e-mails, letters regarding refund. He needs to be held accountable.Desired Settlement: Want deposit money refunded promptly before legal action is necessary. Want others to be aware of his pratices.
Review: Contractor was contracted to do a new foundation/garage floor and exterior decking on my property which was damaged by Hurricane Sandy. He cut corners on both masonry and decking projects. On the masonry, he used large size recycled concrete (measured in feet) to fill in an existing basement. He agreed and priced his job off of my engineers plans which called for no fill material larger than 3" so that voids would not develop under my garage floor. He never completed this project and has not poured the concrete floor.
My decking has issues way too numerous to list, it appears to be the first deck he has installed, could not have been a qualified person who installed it. He has not corrected any of this and does not return my calls, he has been paid already for the majority of the work. DO NOT RECOMMEND HIRING THIS CONTRACTOR.Desired Settlement: Finish the job with quality workmanship or refund the funds paid out.
