Review: We purchased a steel roof with a 50 year warranty. We were assured that the paint would not fade or chip. The roof is 14 years old and has peeling paint in many places.Desired Settlement: I purchased this expensive roof with the idea that I would not need to replace it in my lifetime (less than 50 years). It has only been 14 years and the roof needs to be replaced. I spoke with the regional factory representative and have not heard back in a month. He assured me that they were talking with a paint subcontractor but I have not heard from anyone.
