Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint The day I put the deposit down on the RV 10/24/15, there was no water damage to trailer so I intended buying itI then left the RV on MrS***'s lot over the weekend of Halloween due to not having storage set up for the trailer at the timei advised his son Nick I would be leaving the trailer on his property for that weekend and would be picking it up the beginning of the week Monday 11/2/after I arranged storage When I had First overlooked the trailer before putting the deposit down, I was told by Nick that the trailer was in fact new on the lot, but he did state the trailer had already been inspected and the windows, gasket, as well as the roof had already been resealed by his maintenance guyI was under the impression at the time of the deposit that everything had been resealed and was waterproofedHowever over the Halloween weekend a big storm hit, and the trailer took on a great amount of water that came in through the windows, as well as into the ceiling/light fixture through the exterior slide leaking through bad gaskets When I came to pick up the trailer Monday 11/2/15, Me and MrJ [redacted] overlooked the trailer once again to make sure everything was in working orderThe water damage to the trailer went unnoticed because they had moved the recliner chair over top of the water spot to hide the moisture in the carpet as well as putting the curtains over the windows to hide water marksKeep In mind that the majority of the water had already soaked into the plywood flooring as well as the carpet padding, because I arrived to retrieve the trailer two days after the stormIt was never disclosed that any water damage had been done to the trailer over the weekend it was just covered up I then purchased the trailer in full, not noticing the damage, and then took it to storageI went to the trailer the morning of 11/4/to start replacing the carpet because it had some stainsAs I moved the chair to start to tear out carpeting I noticed at least an inch of water still standing in the floorI then Immediately removed carpet in efforts to vacuum up the remaining water and get pictures of the damageI immediately called Mr.J [redacted] and explained I had just discovered the damage to the floor coming into the windows as well as a leak in the ceilingHe then stated to bring the trailer back immediately witch I did right awayWhen I dropped off the trailer MrJ [redacted] said he did not know of the recent water damage, and agreed to replace the entire floor decking to include the plywood as well as the sheetrock wall, and also replace all window gaskets and once again reseal all windows as well as the roof and slide gaskets I agreed to keep the trailer as long as this work was done, and everything was properly fixedHe then agreed to have everything fixed within a weekI showed up to the lot on 11/13/at 11AM during business hours and there was nobody on siteI then went in my trailer and noticed nothing had been done to fix the trailerI called MrJ [redacted] and he had claimed to be at auction buying more trailers and would return in a couple daysI asked him why nothing had been done to my trailer and he claimed his repair guy was supposed to have been working on it all alongI then returned on 11/19/to the lot to check on the progress and once again no one was on siteWhen I Called Mr.J [redacted] this time I did not tell him I was on the lot and asked him what had been done to the RV, he then lied and claimed everything had been fixed he just needed a few more days, when really I was standing in the RV looking at the same rotted floor, and unsealed windows with the same temporary caulking I had appliedI have multiple pictures from each time I returnedi showed up to the same damaged trailer starting on 11/then on 11/13, 11/19,, and the final day 11/When I showed up on 11/the trailer was the exact same so I called MrJ [redacted] up to the lotI told him that due to him lying multiple times about fixing the trailer, I would need a refund and I did not want the trailer because the flood damage was not on the initial contract AS/IS and he did not repair what we agreedHe told me he could not refund me because he had spent all his funds at auction on a bunch of new trailers, and that the floor was not rotted enough to need to be replacedI told him the only other option would be to even trade me another trailer similar to mine without any damageHe claimed all trailers he could not touch because they were all being held by a deposit or consignment I would Like my Money refunded in full or another trailer within the same price value, with no damages/leaks, or else I will have to take this matter to court and resolve it that wayI look forward to a timely response so we can get this resolvedThanks Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  The day I put the deposit down on the RV 10/24/15, there was no water damage to trailer so I intended buying it. I then left the RV on Mr. S[redacted]'s lot over the weekend of Halloween due to not having storage set up for the trailer at the time. I advised his son Nick I would be leaving the trailer on his property for that weekend and would be picking it up the beginning of the week Monday 11/2/15 after I arranged storage.  When I had First overlooked the trailer before putting the deposit down, I was told by Nick that the trailer was in fact new on the lot, but he did state the trailer had already been inspected and the windows, gasket, as well as the roof had already been resealed by his maintenance guy. I was under the impression at the time of the deposit that everything had been resealed and was waterproofed. However over the Halloween weekend a big storm hit, and the trailer took on a great amount of water that came in through the windows, as well as into the ceiling/light fixture through the exterior slide leaking through bad gaskets.  When I came to pick up the trailer Monday 11/2/15,  Me and Mr. J[redacted] overlooked the trailer once again to make sure everything was in working order. The water damage to the trailer went unnoticed because they had moved the recliner chair over top of the water spot to hide the moisture in the carpet as well as putting the curtains over the windows to hide water marks. Keep In mind that the majority of the water had already soaked into the plywood flooring as well as the carpet padding, because I arrived to retrieve the trailer two days after the storm. It was never disclosed that any water damage had been done to the trailer over the weekend it was just covered up.  I then purchased the trailer in full, not noticing the damage, and then took it to storage. I went to the trailer the morning of 11/4/15 to start replacing the carpet because it had some stains. As I moved the chair to start to tear out carpeting I noticed at least an inch of water still standing in the floor. I then Immediately removed carpet in efforts to vacuum up the remaining water and get pictures of the damage. I immediately called Mr.J[redacted] and explained I had just discovered the damage to the floor coming into the windows as well as a leak in the ceiling. He then stated to bring the trailer back immediately witch I did right away. When I dropped off the trailer Mr. J[redacted] said he did not know of the recent water damage, and agreed to replace the entire floor decking to include the plywood as well as the sheetrock wall, and also replace all window gaskets and once again reseal all windows as well as the roof and slide gaskets.  I agreed to keep the trailer as long as this work was done, and everything was properly fixed. He then agreed to have everything fixed within a week. I showed up to the lot on 11/13/15 at 11AM during business hours and there was nobody on site. I then went in my trailer and noticed nothing had been done to fix the trailer. I called Mr. J[redacted] and he had claimed to be at auction buying more trailers and would return in a couple days. I asked him why nothing had been done to my trailer and he claimed his repair guy was supposed to have been working on it all along. I then returned on 11/19/15 to the lot to check on the progress and once again no one was on site. When I Called Mr.J[redacted] this time I did not tell him I was on the lot and asked him what had been done to the RV, he then lied and claimed everything had been fixed he just needed a few more days, when really I was standing in the RV looking at the same rotted floor, and unsealed windows with the same temporary caulking I had applied. I have multiple pictures from each time I returned. I showed up to the same damaged trailer starting on 11/9 then on 11/13, 11/19,, and the final day 11/23. When I showed up on 11/23 the trailer was the exact same so I called Mr. J[redacted] up to the lot. I told him that due to him lying multiple times about fixing the trailer, I would need a refund and I did not want the trailer because the flood damage was not on the initial contract AS/IS and he did not repair what we agreed. He told me he could not refund me because he had spent all his funds at auction on a bunch of new trailers, and that the floor was not rotted enough to need to be replaced. I told him the only other option would be to even trade me another trailer similar to mine without any damage. He claimed all trailers he could not touch because they were all being held by a deposit or consignment.  I would Like my Money refunded in full or another trailer within the same price value, with no damages/leaks, or else I will have to take this matter to court and resolve it that way. I look forward to a timely response so we can get this resolved. Thanks
