2007 jeep commander , customer have bought in jun 2014, with the vin: number provided on this car customer stated that the car been garaged since dec last year .

I bought a 2002 Nissan Altima from Atayas Auto sales, two months later the cat and alternater went out I called Mije and that same day he had my car towed to the lot and I had my car back to me the next evening! Car ran like a champ, I cant believe that anyone would give these guys a bad review they are awsome! This is the best used car lot ive ever been to and they are all very respectable, family orientated gentleman! I am for sure buying my next car from them!

Review: found out 2 years later car was damaged.

I purchased a 2005 gmc yukon for blue book price at the time 3 years ago. I took it to trade it in and another dealer, with auto check in hand, said it had frame damaged. ive spoke with [redacted] and [redacted] over at atayas and they have been no help. they offered to give me 5000 for it. The offer was a slap in the face. Desired Settlement: 6900 was what I owed when I found out about the frame damage. that drops the purchase price 8000. I think that's a fair deal. at the time they offered me 5000. I would've had to pay 2000 to even pay it off.

THIS VEHICLE WAS "SOLD AS IS-NO WARRANTY". WE US A BUSINESS TRIED TO HELP HIM BY BUYING THE VEHICLE AT FAIR MARKET VALUE OF $5000.00 CAUSE HE WAS IN THE MARKET FOR ANOTHER VEHICLE. THIS IS AFTER HE HAD GONE TO CARMAX AND HAD BEEN OFFERED $3500.00 AND THEN $2500.00 FOR SAME CAUSE THEY SAID IT HAD PRIOR DAMAGE. HE AGREED IN PRINCIPAL AND WAS SUPPOSED TO COME BACK THE NEXT DAY AND WE WHERE ONLY SURPRISED TO GET ANOTHER LETTER FROM A LAWYER STATING FRAUD AND BREACH OF LAW...ETC. I HAVE SINCE THEN OVER LOOKED ALL THAT WE HAD OFFERED AND CONSIDERED HIS ACTION A SLAP IN THE FACE DESPITE THE GOOD FAITH.

Final Consumer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)

I paid full value at the time for a car that was supposed to be in great condition. Two years later the car was not in great condition the frame was damaged. Yes the company was offering to give me full market value which was mmore than it was worth but I thought that was unfair because they have not been clear in the first place. Looking back at the car and the actions of the dealership there was things that was wrong with the vehicle that they" tried" to fix but never did. my family drove around in a car that has damage for more than two years I pay full value for that car. How do I have known I wouldn't have bought the car or I wouldn't have paid full market value for a car that has frame damage. I appreciate their actions by offering me more than it was worth at that time but I never would have bought it if I would have known it has frame damage when I purchased it original.

Review: I purchased a 2005 Toyota Tundra in April 2015 with 122,000 miles on it. The first time we drove to Sacramento to view the truck we was told that it was not driveable and that it needed the timing belt replaced. We went back a week later and decided to purchase the vehicle. We was not offered a warranty until I had already paid $2500 down and the loan was completed. We was told to bring it back for a complimentary tune up, Which we did about 3 weeks later. After the tune up the truck started to have a massive oil leak. We took the vehicle back to them ( 1.5 hrs away) to be fixed and they had the vehicle for 3 weeks. On the way from from the "FIXING" the vehicle the check engine light came on. We immediately pulled over and called [redacted]- the Mechanic. He reports that he believes it is just a loose hose and that we should take it to [redacted] to find out why the light is on. About a week later the light went off and we was reluctant to drive it. We only drove it around town a couple of times. Then decided to take it to [redacted] for a family reunion. We had only put 3000 miles on the vehicle since buying it. As we was driving the truck turned off and would not start again. The truck had never overheated until it had already turned off. We then had the truck towed 40 miles home. I called [redacted] and he reports it was our fault as we let it overheat and had blown a head gasket. In my research I learned that when a head gasket is bad, the timing belt and water pump also get replaced. Coincidence? I think not. Now I am paying on a $11000 vehicle that they sold us that they knew was crap. I would never recommend them to someone and I will have a good mechanic fix this truck and help me get my money backDesired Settlement: I would like full amount refunded so I can obtain a quality vehicle

Response:

this is in respond for 2005 toyota tundra, I am sorry the customer feels that way we try to help in every case or every car we sell, when every we have a car up for sale , we make sure every thing is working good , including smug and safety , but they are used cars , they will have wear and tear , we tried to help in all cases to keep customer happy , we do offer warranty on every single one , because we make money on selling warranty , if customer refuses then there are nothing we can do ,customer did complaint about oil leak , which we had fixed (( her car sat here for 2 weeks because here husband for got to leave keys , and we made sure she had a loaner in the mean time.when she called me last week I told here she didnt have warranty on the car customer started calling me names ,so I refuse to help here ((( on as is car sold ))), she indicated that the car over heated and died on here , so I told here that she is on here own , she should have pay attention to the temp gauge ((( not sure if blown head gasket or not))). she said she lives far. dated on 9/2/2015 [redacted]

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: First off, I did not call him names. I did tell him that I would look into an attorney and at that point [redacted] started yelling at me and saying he would not help me. I honestly believe he knew what the problem was before we left the lot. As I said, the engine light was on before we made it home from his shop so the problem was created by him. Second, my husband forgot to leave the key and we overnighted it to them for $50.00 and they had the key the next day but did not get to fixing the oil leak for a couple more weeks. And third, they did not offer a warranty until after the loan was already approved with a $2500.00 down payment and a warranty would be another $1000.00+. And they would not redo the loan so we really did not have the option of doing the warranty. If I can not get reimbursed for a vehicle they sold to me that was not a quality vehicle for which I believe they knew about or caused, I will have no choice but to take further action. I have witnesses to each incident with this company. This complaint is not at all resolved.

Message: first off all , I [redacted] never scream at a customer , second shes not happy with the answer sorry ((( car sold as is where is ))) shes free to do what ever she wants. we at atayas motors will help any customer needs help ,not a customer demanding with threats.

Review: SAID THEY MAILED IT TO ME BUT NEVER RECEIVED IT.

[redacted] the salesman, told me he mailed the documents to me but I never received them. Then I have been calling for days and he just tells me he is looking in the file. I will have another issue of complaint also. Anyway, it was suppose to have been 3 years or 3,000 miles. This isn't what he told me when I purchased the car. I was told 5,000 miles. I have never received the papers and think I have been dupped. They don't even answer the phone calls, but I have left messages.Desired Settlement: Would like the documents that I never received but would also like the warranty I was told I was going to get.

Final Consumer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)

[redacted] at Atayas Motors told me he bought the extended warranty and he said he mailed it to me. When I told him I never received it he said he would put a copy in the mail to me and that was never received. I did take it for a pre-purchase inspection and paid for that out-of-pocket. This doesn't have anything to do with the fact the they are still lying about this.

I'll never buy another car from them. I also had an issue with one of the tires sidewall and the cause was because it had sat for a period of time with low tire pressure. The advertised this car on Craig's list with black wheels and when I bought the car it had factory silver wheels. When I asked about it [redacted] told me the tire kept going flat and when they checked out why it kept going flat it was because the wheel was cracked so they replaced the wheels. That is why the tire became faulty and I couldn't just buy one tire, had to buy four. [redacted] told me to bring the tire in and they would look into reimbursement for me. Well just another lie. I hope others read this before they do business with these guys so they don't get the same treatment as I did.

·We serve everyone with the same love and courtesy so we may

keep them as valued customers as we have a lot of repeat customers for the last 25 years to show

for that. Once in a while you are going to get a customer who f eels misunderstood more than others

and this iS the case we have on this one. We answered that she bought the car " AS-IS-WHERE-

IS" , as she took it to her own mechanic for inspection prior to purchase and the only promise made

was a Transmission Fluid Flush which was done by the same mechanic and paid for by Atayas

Motors. As far as any warranty there was none given other than a misunderstanding despite what is

been alleged. Attached are documents to support the same in this regard, We at Atayas Motors will

take the extra step to help any customer buy a vehicle and do our best to satisfy any customer.
