I am rejecting this response because: This business charges an exorbitant amount IN ADVANCE ($for a facial) because its service is substandard and unacceptable, I have had many facials in my lifetime, including recently at *** in Livingston, for half the cost and with much better service Indulgence was not on time and I did not have all day to wait for them I left to get a bagel, came back and they were still not ready, hence my "attitude" was due to THEIR late and unprofessional service They are looking to profit from their lack of professionalism and courtesy by charging me $for a facial I never had Cancellation policies should be for no shows I was there on time and they were unprofessional and discourteous They should not receive one penny, let alone $ I can see why they charge people IN ADVANCE Every other spa I have been to (*** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** has offered better customer service than this rip off joint

This letter is in response to the above complaint made by MsElizabeth Rohan. On June 10, 2017, *** *** was scheduled for an a.m. facial at Indulgence Day Spa. Upon her arrival, *** *** was greeted in a professional and courteous manner, yet she appeared to be
uncomfortable and aggravated and had an attitude. In the meantime, as her technician was finishing her last service, *** *** stated, “she was leaving but would be right back.” Once *** *** returned, she was given a Spa Intake Form to complete, which is required for all our clients to complete. However, *** ***, accepted the form but did not complete it. As with any business that provides health and wellness services, it is essential for their clients to complete the necessary forms prior to being serviced. Unfortunately, *** *** refused to comply. As *** *** was being escorted by the esthetician to the room to receive her facial, she made an inappropriate comment to MsFoust. Despite her rudeness, being the professional MsFoust is, she overlooked her comment and proceeded to the room to start her service. However, before MsFoust could start, *** *** decided she did not want MsF* to do her facial and left. Indulgence Day Spa is an established, reputable business and provides the best services to all our clients, which includes being courteous and prompt for our services. *** *** was advised of our “Cancellation Policy” upon scheduling her appointment; and it was reiterated the day before her scheduled appointment by one of our professional staff members. Our “Cancellation Policy” is also posted on our website, as well as, in our establishment. Therefore, in our effort to provide her with the service she requested and ultimately, refused; we charged her credit card accordingly and did not issue her a refund.
