A detailed
review of your account and the adjustments processed was completedThis review determined that charges were sent to your retailer prior to completing all the required adjustmentsWe apologize for any inconvenience caused by receiving those charges
Our records indicate that on January 19, the equipment at your property was exchangedAs a result of the meter being removed and tested, it was proven that the meter was accurately registeringHowever, the automated meter reading device was programmed incorrectly as it was installed at an incorrect foot dialThis means that for every rotation of the dials on the meter, the meter reading device was reporting exactly half the measurement of actual gas flowDue to the incorrect programming which occurred when it was installed in March 2012, we have since that time charged only half of the usage consumed at your property
We have processed the final corrections on your account which are outlined on the updated charged summary attached to this responseThe corrections processed go back to March 2015; usage prior to March which was well over GJ has been removed from the total adjustment
We acknowledge that it was our equipment that did not report the actual usage recorded by the meterWe would like to apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have causedOn May 5, the final adjustment was sent to your retailer for billing along with net new charges for the new billing periods
