I strongly advise if you have transmission issues to NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO ATCO TRANSMISSION in montgomery They installed a new transmission in my truck for the dealer before I bought it It had a year, 12,mile warranty and wouldnt you know it went out at year, 20,miles! I spoked to Donna, the lady that owns atco, and she said since it was so close to warranty that they would do what they could to help me out on the cost My truck sat in their parking lot for a week without anybody looking at it! They finally looked at it friday afternoon and told me the tranny was shot and they would rebuild it to the tune of $2300! I had already called other reputable transmission shops in the area and all three estimates were substantially lower than atco Thought they were supposed to help me out on the cost? I told donna to put the truck back in the parking lot and lock the keys in it and I would come get it this weekend She said all her employees had gone home and it would have to wait until tuesday After my wife called and "persuaded" them otherwise, they got the truck moved back out but left it unlocked with the keys in it They also managed to drain the battery down so low that the doors wont even lock or unlock! On top of all this I was constantly fed lies about when they were going to look at it and Donna even hung up on me one time because she said she was busy! These people do crappy work at a high cost so beware! If I would have known all this from the begining I could have had the truck fixed and back to me in the ammount of time it took them to diagnos it!
