What number to call to speak with someone live?
Athene spells NIGHTMARE. I have the names of the husband and wife agents we used. I will try to reach out to them I suppose. I might consider filing a report with the BBB, you others could do the same in order to put some pressure on this terrible company that seem to behave like robbers and con artists and also seem to get away with it!
Please post a number that works to reach someone live, if you have had success. Thank you

You cannot get your money if you need it for an emergency
I have an emergency and need to withdraw money from my annuity. I put the request in a week ago, and it has not been processed on their side. I called because, in the past, a request had been processed within 3 days. I called on the 3rd day to find out when my request would be processed and was told it was under review. Day 4, it's under review, day 5 it's under review. I suspect it will be under review the next time I call, which will be Monday since they have stalled the whole week. I am definitely NOT recommending this company to anyone!

Annuities cannot get any information on my annuity I have contacted them several times for information but all I get is a runaround I have called them about giving me my annuity value first I called and they said they would send it in the mail I never received it then I called and had to give them my address and again they said they would send out my annuity value still never received it I called again and ask them to fax the information they said no problem thy would fax to the phone number I gave them and still again it never came I am very concerned now that they have stolen my annuity and I want the money to invest in something else I have had this annuity for several years I got it through my bank but a had been sold a couple of times with different companies and I have never had as much trouble as I have now they are very vague about the value and if it still exists they said they are restructuring but it's been over six months and still no update or information no web site to

I have an annuity contract with Athene for years then I received a notice from Athene on December 15, saying that they are going to use a 3rd party administrator called [redacted] to assist with contract administrationThis is the last mail I got from Athene and [redacted] nor have I gotten any annuity statementsI called [redacted] on March 20, and they told me that due to the technical difficulty they are having with the data conversion, the last annuity statement they have is for Sept and they have no idea on how much my annuity value is For a business to tell their customers that they are not able to transfer data from Athene to their 3rd party administrator after months, this is unbelievable, I am now worried about where is my money Based on my personal experience and other reviews, I would strongly advise against this company and its produces

I have had difficulty trying to cash the checks they issue me, and no one will tell me why?
