I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. However, I do not want a 180 day extension and do not feel that the dates should "match" up. All I would like is the refund. I have supplied the transcript and screenshots to the representative showing that I am indeed in be athletic training program and explained that I recently switched in January but will not have actual athletic training classes until August 2017 semester.

Mr. G[redacted] spoke with a customer service representative on 4/14/2017 to assist with his request to cancel his enrollment for the Self Study Certified Personal Training program.   It was disclosed on this call that Mr. Gonzalez is enrolled in school studying athletic training with...

expectation of sitting for his ATC certification exam.  With proper documentation (ie. Transcripts), confirming the timeline of his enrollment in school, taking college courses that is adjacent to time frame of his NASM enrollment, a refund for the requested amount of $300 will be granted.  If the timelines do not match up a refund will not be granted however a full 180-day extension, at no cost, will be offered to allow Mr. G[redacted] of the opportunity to complete the Certified Personal Training course.       Supporting documentation can be emailed to c[redacted] using the subject line:  NASM: Documents for Leonardo G[redacted].  Once received, a response will be provided to Mr. G[redacted] within 5 business days.

This decision still does nothing to solve this agency's deceptive and inefficient business practices.  I will have to check with my bank to see if I have been refunded. As of yesterday March 26 I did not see the refund in my bank account. The last time I check 10% of 74.75 would be $7.47 which would leave me with a refund of $67.27.  Not 44 and some change.
