Atkins Auto Deals is responding to the 5/3/17 email about additional concerns and customer's rejection to our response:First and foremost after reading the original complaint and the second, we would like to address  the sentence that is found on the 4/27/17 complaint. The customer wrote the Revdex.com and said that," I test drove it the night before I went and picked up the vehicle it had no problems that day." The second complaint (rejection) states ,"The vehicle had a 15 day warranty on it, however the vehicle started have mechanical issues a few minutes after driving it off the lot." As stated in the original response from us (Atkins Auto Deals) the customer put the vehicle on hold after the test drive and then returned at a later date to redeem. We feel that any issues would have been mentioned prior to [redacted] purchasing the vehicle or if the customer was uncertain, they would not have purchased the [redacted]. We are open M-F 9-6 and Saturdays 9-1. All customers have plenty of time to test drive any vehicle they choose, we do not limit test drive times. We did schedule [redacted] for service work several times, according to our schedule. As previously stated, we did put the customers into our service loaner while their vehicle was being repaired. We also have service invoices for every part installed, where the parts were purchased and In House Labor invoices. We were never informed that the customer took their vehicle elsewhere to be "looked at." We also never received invoices for any parts they purchased, a mechanic's bill or even an estimate from someone else. We do keep concise records for all vehicles serviced and they are available upon request by any of our customers. Atkins Auto Deals can work with [redacted] if he would like the vehicle back, and provide any service invoices as well. Should he want a third party estimate and summary at a different Service Station, in re: condition of the vehicle, we can do that as well.

After reading the following complaint we would like to respond with the necessary information. We did sell a 2004 [redacted] to James Craig on 3/1/17. The customer put this vehicle on hold after test driving that evening on 2/28/17. They returned four days later and paid the rest of the...

downpayment on 3/1/17. This vehicle was originally marked on the Buyers Guide as "As Is." By signing the Odometer Disclosure, the customer was aware that the vehicle they were purchasing had higher mileage, of 215,821 to be exact. The customer expressed that they had to have four wheel drive, and this was the only vehicle we had that was in their budget. However, we did change the vehicle from , "As Is," to being sold with a 15 day warranty. The 15 day warranty reads as follows..." 15 Day Unlimited Mileage warranty covering engine, transmission and internal engine parts. All other items within the 15 day period will be on a 50/50 basis." The customer did sign this 15 day warranty. [redacted] did call and we handled his service concerns and over a two week period-replaced the following parts..Oil seal, Control Arm, ABS Unit, axle seals, upper ball joint, air check valve, and an air box. Every time the customer called our service department, we scheduled an appointment, fixed the problems and provided our  company service loaner. In addition, we did not charge the customer for anything, even though most of the items we replaced were not even covered under their 15 day warranty. Mrs. Craig did call us several times about getting a different vehicle for the main reason- that they could not afford the gas to put into the Trailblazer. The [redacted] is a V-6 SUV and is hard on gas; and she told us after purchase that she has to drive extensive miles every week to doctor's appointments.  She wanted to be be put into a smaller car so she could afford the gas.  We did tell her that we could not because she did sign a Retail Installment Contract and it is a legal and binding document. We did however, tell her that we could work with her payments if that was the problem.

The above statements are false and a pact of lies. The vehicle was only allowed to be test drove for under 5 minutes. The vehicle had a 15 day warranty on it, however the vehicle started have mechanical issuses a few minutes after driving it off the lot. We were forced to wait weeks at a time before they would "look at it" of course the problems were never fixed. We were actually told multiple times that the vehicle would be replaced but when the time for this to happen came, stories were changed. The vehicle was taken to a REAL mechanic shop at OUR expense at which time the problems of Transmission seal, transmission shift sensor and transmission fluid filter and fluids needed to be replaced. After talking to multiple other ex clients we found out the "business" of Atkins Auto is just a scam. Everyone we talked to had severe mechanical issues out of their vehicles just as we had and nothing was done by the sellers for it.
