Window World of Des Moines is by far the worst company my wife and I have ever had to work withWe were told we would be called when the windows arrived, we wanted a month after that deadline before we finally calledWhen we did, what do you know? The windows had been in but nobody had called usThey installed all windows except for because they were measured incorrectly, it's fine, mistakes happenAgain we were told we would be called when those windows came in and guess what, they never called us! We had to call them again to scheduleSo we scheduled them to be installed on a Saturday between andWe got up early that weekend when we had family in town just to make sure they would be taken care of earlyAt 9:we hadn't heard from anyone so we called the storeThe guy had no idea we were even on the scheduleHe checked with the installation guy and was told he would be to our place within minmin later we got a call from the installation guy who "had problems with his truck all morning and couldn't make it." So much for sleeping in on our day offWe were told we would get a call first thing on Monday to rescheduleMonday at 2:45pm we hadn't heard so I had to call againWe were told they would be in on this Saturday, 3/5/between 8-And now here we are at 10:03am on SaturdayNot a single call from anyone, the showroom won't answer, and we haven't received any updatesPlease never use Window World of Des Moines for any services unless you want a headache every weekend
I've been trying since October to have someone come out and replace or adjust three locks on the casement windows I have. It took three different phone calls just to get a service man out to replace the locks but to my dismay when finally did show up he didn't have the right color or something. I then showed him a window that had cracked and he took the number for the window (even though I had emailed a picture of the information they needed to order a replacement to someone in DM several weeks before) He acted like he knew nothing of this broken window even though my previous phone call and email. After all said and done he had all the information for the color of the locks and replacement window and told me he would be back before Christmas. This would have been the early part of December. Today is 4/19/2016 and nothing. The sad part is I like the windows very much and even recommended the windows to several of my friends and I hope they have not received the same treatment,
