We were hoping to resolve this matter but unfortunately we are not satisfied with our contractor's response Request for warrenty information has been "a continuious drumbeat" because we still have not received the needed information In our complaint we stated that what is required is that we need to have in our possession copies of receipt/invoice/bill of sale for all items in which we may need to file a future warranty claim This is what we have been told when we have have spent time contacting various manufacturors/supplies of our kitchen furnishings. We do not need general information which is found on web sitesWe also want to note that the contractor also has not responded to explain why the promise they made on 11/9/15, to provide us with information so we could also file a claim with [redacted] , has not been fulfilled as of this date.We understand that [redacted] is having problems with other issues, but it is our understanding that that has more to do with concern about a chemical issue Our issue is different, we believe, as our flooring is having a sparation issue, which according to my non -expertise and limited reading about our type of flooring is most likely due to problems with installation techniques I understand that it might be hard to determine at this point what caused this issue but it would have been nice to have occasional updates as to the progress of our claim as well as the aforementioned information so we could also file a claim We appreciate that our contractor has responded promptly each time there has been another seperation, and has glued the planks down as recommended by the manufacturor but we feel the repair is not totally satisfactory as there is still a noticeable gap and crumbs fall in We will note that not all our requests for repair under their workmanship warranty have been completedWe have heard no communication since early January as to when our desk light, which has been flickering since the fall, will be fixed. To sum it up, although our contractor did a great job with developing a layout for our kitchen and, overall workmanship was quite good, we have been very disappointed with their ability to deal with our concernsThis has caused us a great deal of stress because we value and work best when there is open and honest communication Time and time again we have been left hanging with no communication from our contractor while almost feeling penalized for bringing up a concernThis occurred again with the last response from the contractor in which they stated that all our problems stemmed back from the granite counter -top issue This is not trueWe did not bring it up in our complaint - we have decided to live with our granite top and are moving on with our life - again we feel penalized that we ever brought that up as an issue We were hoping we could resolve things here and are disappointed with the result We were hoping to resolve this matter but unfortunately we are not satisfied with our contractor's response Request for warrenty information has been "a continuious drumbeat" because we still have not received the needed information In our complaint we stated that what is required is that we need to have in our possession copies of receipt/invoice/bill of sale for all items in which we may need to file a future warranty claim This is what we have been told when we have have spent time contacting various manufacturors/supplies of our kitchen furnishings. We do not need general information which is found on web sitesWe also want to note that the contractor also has not responded to explain why the promise they made on 11/9/15, to provide us with information so we could also file a claim with Lumber Liquidators, has not been fulfilled as of this date.We understand that Lumber Liquidators is having problems with other issues, but it is our understanding that that has more to do with concern about a chemical issue Our issue is different, we believe, as our flooring is having a sparation issue, which according to my non -expertise and limited reading about our type of flooring is most likely due to problems with installation techniques I understand that it might be hard to determine at this point what caused this issue but it would have been nice to have occasional updates as to the progress of our claim as well as the aforementioned information so we could also file a claim We appreciate that our contractor has responded promptly each time there has been another seperation, and has glued the planks down as recommended by the manufacturor but we feel the repair is not totally satisfactory as there is still a noticeable gap and crumbs fall in We will note that not all our requests for repair under their workmanship warranty have been completedWe have heard no communication since early January as to when our desk light, which has been flickering since the fall, will be fixed. To sum it up, although our contractor did a great job with developing a layout for our kitchen and, overall workmanship was quite good, we have been very disappointed with their ability to deal with our concernsThis has caused us a great deal of stress because we value and work best when there is open and honest communication Time and time again we have been left hanging with no communication from our contractor while almost feeling penalized for bringing up a concernThis occurred again with the last response from the contractor in which they stated that all our problems stemmed back from the granite counter -top issue This is not trueWe did not bring it up in our complaint - All invoices, receipts or purchase orders are the property of this companyThese items contain pertinent but private business account or credit card identifiersWe do not disseminate that information to our clients or to any part of the public domain. The signed agreement between our firm and the customer is their invoiceThat agreement contains all of the information concerning products, materials and labor to be supplied by us at a fixed contract price.*** *** continues to be less than forthcoming on how they intent to warranty their productTheir only response is, they might be willing to offer store credit for far less than the purchase price of the materialWhich is unacceptableYet they refuse to come out and inspect the installed product*** *** also stated that the warranty is not transferrableWe (our company) are the purchasers of the product and that is who holds the warranty. We have answered every question the homeowner has askedWe have never failed to respond to any issues that have arisenWe can do no more than that

As of this date we have continuously supplied *** * *** *** will all of the documentation they requested that was available to usSome of the material manufacturers supply only web based warranties and we supplied that information to the clientsThis has been a continuous drumbeat
from the owners since the completion of the projectThey have also contacted The New Jersey Department of Consumer Affairs concerning this issueWe supplied the NJDCA with the information we supplied the ***'s and they were satisfied with our efforts. Our company offers a workmanship warrantyAny issues concerning warranty work were addressed immediately, including making repairs to the flooring in question. Concerning *** ***, that alone should speak for itself* *** have been holding us at arms length for over a year now concerning ***'s project and another project using the same flooringThey have no intention of honoring their warranty but we still continue to argue for them to back up their productThis is not an uncommon practice for *** ***.The bottom line of this and other complaints from the ***'s boils down to one problem*** & *** selected and signed off on their granite counter top selection and did not like it after installationWe refused to replace, THEIR CHOICE, at our costAll issues ultimately lead back to a choice they regret, which was not selecting us as their contractor but selecting and then regretting their counter top choice

Complaint: *** This response is rejected because information from contractor's last response appears contradictory to what we have been informed by State and manufacturors regarding our consumer rights, and we were not even given this much information until we filed our complaint, AND and had stated to Revdex.com that we were ready to close our case as unresolved. We have given this a sufficient amount of time for this to be resolved, in good faith, ( many e-mails, in person contact and then, when that failed, we filed this complaint on 2/19/ 16. We are tired of the stress, want closure to move on with our lives , so please close the case now as unresolved

We were hoping to resolve this matter but unfortunately we are not satisfied with our contractor's response.  Request for warrenty information has been "a continuious drumbeat" because we still have not received the needed information.  In our complaint we stated that what is required is that we need to have in our possession copies of receipt/invoice/bill of sale for all items in which we may need to file a future warranty claim.  This is what we have been told when we have have spent time contacting various manufacturors/supplies of our kitchen furnishings. We do not need general information which is found on web sites.
