On October 31, 2019. I arranged for Pierre, who presented himself as the owner of (City Movers) or Atlanta Elite City Movers who advertises his business with Thumbtack prof referral app and business. He presented himself to be friendly and professional at first. Agreeing that the move will cost a total of $360.00 , which included sink wrap for furnishing and the highest degree of care for my items. I was able to get assistance to help pay for the move and a representative was there when Pierre came to my apartment to look at what he had to move, He estimated it would take maybe 3 or 4 hrs. He signed documents and was given the money order payment. He said he be there at 1:00 pm sharp. I explained that the new apt ofc would nd me to sign my lease and other docs, so I might hv to move later then I expected. He suggested that he come early and load the truck and drive to the new apt and wait for me. It was raining and after 1:00pm that day, he didn't call. I cld him and he said he was running late and would come around 2:00pm I trusted that Pierre when take care of my furniture, but he didn't. While the rep and I were in the office finishing the paperwork, he and the other guy helping him move dropped my glass plant table, scratched up my dining table, left the chairs loose and wobbly, broke a couple small glass vases, nicked my coffee table, put a tear in one of my sofa cushions. He was moving it all in especially fast and when I finished my business, he explained that his trainee dropped the glass plant table. I asked him how he was going to compensate me and did he have docs for me to fill out, he said just send a pic of what you want replaced for it and I'll have it to you in 30 dys. I went back to the old apt. and found that he left so much there, that I had to load my SUV at night. I was furious. And he didn't move all my bedroom furnings upstairs, but left in the living rm. I told him what a terrible job he did, he said, I'll bring u a new table, he lies.. P.S. he was paid $20 ovr $340

Replacement He promised to replace he and had me waiting twice and didn't show up or call to say he wasn't coming. I sent him a sofa table pic from Walmart, which is way less and not of the same good quality as my other one. He ignores my calls and will not tell me if and when he'll ship it now. I want my replacement table. I really should be compensate for damaged furniture. I have contacted Thumbtack to have them investigate it. I warned them to protect their customers from his scam tactics.
Consumer indicated they have heard from the company, but the issue has not been resolved. Comments follow below:
I have contacted Pierre with Atlanta Elite (AKA CITY MOVERS). He refused to follow up and ignored my calls continuously. Since he removed my contact name and number, he returned my telephone call last week. He is still lying, stating that he tried to replace my broken glass plant stand. I reminded him of his broken promises to buy it and bring it to me before the 30 day timeframe his mentioned at first. He is very unprofessional and rude. I have resent my address requesting that he ship it to me and stated that he is to have it by Nov. 30th 2019. I am not even addressing the damages regarding my furniture. I will wait and see what happens. THUMBTACK REMOVED HIM FROM ADVERTISING HIS MOVING COMPANY (SCAM) FROM THEIR BUSINESS.

BEWARE OF (CITY MOVERS) ATLANTA, GA. THIS COMPANY IS LOOKING FOR ANYONE THEY CAN TAKE ADVANTAGE OF AND WILL DAMAGE YOUR FURNITURE IF THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH IT. KYNESHA, THE OWNER, WILL NOT HELP YOU RESOLVE ANYTHING, NOR CONTACT YOU. SHE LET'S PIERRE HANDLE THE DIRTY DEALINGS.
