Avio-Diepen's Logistics (warehouse) employees are required to have a specialized eye exam (a Snellen Vision Acuity and Color Blindness exam) on an annual basis. This exam measures any changes in their vision predominately any changes in their visual acuity. Avio-Diepen's specific requirements are that all employees maintain a 20/30 or lower in both eyes to stay compliant with quality control and customer requirements. This past November (1, 6 and 8, 2017) we sent 10 employees for testing and 5 of them returned with acuity of 20/40.
Since these results were sent to us, Avio-Diepen has been attempting to contact Atlanta Eye Consultants (College Park office) to find out from the Ophthalmologist if these 5 employees will need corrective lenses and when we can schedule a follow up appointment to obtain corrective lens.
Avio-Diepen's primary contact with Atlanta Eye Consultants has taken place with an employee by the name of *** at the College Park office. ***'s communication style is aggressive and disrespectful. On multiple occasions, *** has dismissed our requests for information in an abrasive manner, stating she is busy handling other patients and does not have the time to speak with us. This lack of customer service is unethical. Avio-Diepen paid for our employees to have vision acuity testing with the expectation that the service transaction would then proceed to the next steps of obtaining corrective lens. Without corrective lens, Avio-Diepen's employees do not have proper vision to accurately meet our customer requirements and the needs of our business. This poorly handled transaction has created a snowball effect that has negatively impacted the efficient operation of Avio-Diepen's logistics team and has wasted company time and resources. Avio-Diepen is submitting this complaint to ensure the owners of Atlanta Eye Consultants? are properly informed of ***'s ineptitude. ***'s behavior has prevented their company from professionally completing our business transaction

Contact by the Business At the present time we are requesting communication from Atlanta Eye Consultants to Avio-Diepen's Human Resources Generalist, ***, at *** or by phone ***. We will not be pursuing any further partnership with Atlanta Eye consultants but we would like this matter to be escalated to a higher authority. We have wasted too much time and too many resources trying to get the results and have yet to hear from Atlanta Eye Consultants.
