After much research and with the advancement of oxygen treatment therapy I'd been reading about, I needed to find a good doctor that I could contact about this kind of treatment or purchasing my own hyperbaric chamber at a decent price; I didn't need the most expensive I kept seeing, but wanted a good one that my family could use for a multitude of ailments - then I found Dr. *** and his website Atlanta Hyperbaric Center on Google, gave him a call and he helped me get exactly what I needed!
I purchased a new Summit to Sea awesome chamber within my budget a couple of years ago and loved it. Like many expensive devices and equipment we as a society purchase, my family stopped using it and I knew it was time to try to get it somewhere and hopefully sell it, so I remembered Dr. *** mentioning he helps sell used chambers too, and since I had such a great experience with him before, gave it a shot and called him to see if he could help me sell it.
I did research on his website and read the simple and easy steps in order to get a used chamber to him and help find it a good home; after all, it was still a great machine and totally capable of helping someone in need. When I called him, he was on the exact same page and reiterated the website terms and conditions, as well as facts that I would have never known without his knowledge and finding his website.
He did explain that once he received the chamber from me, he then had to ship it to the manufacturer to get inspected and re-certified, which then extended a partial warranty for 6 months, negated any legal liabilities if anything were to go wrong with it for all parties once it was sold, and I could literally have gotten in big trouble if I sold this on my own (this is also a federal requirement to resell a medical device of this capacity).
This helped me feel even more confident in working with him and also showed his knowledge and credibility as it is listed on the website and he was able to discuss in length on the phone, making sure to clarify any questions or concerns I had. Because this hyperbaric chamber was so great to begin with and was able to get manufacturer re-certification (of course the costs are pretty high to do that), it sold quickly and Dr. *** ensured I got a very fair check after his incurred shipping and certification expenses, as well as listing and marketing for me. I could have put this for sale on Facebook or other platforms myself, but I would have no clue that I would be federally required to get this certified through the manufacturer and all these things involved with the resell of my chamber without Dr. ***'s help.
I would recommend Dr. *** for not only purchasing a great quality new or used hyperbaric chamber for SO, SO many health benefits of hyperbaric treatment, but also to help re-sell a used chamber to his best ability. He is definitely a highly recommended doctor that I will continue to refer to many people!
Advertisement of resale of hyperbaric chamber not represented correctly. Request for detail of funds not received.
I purchased a hyperbaric chamber from Atlanta Hyperbaric Center in late 2018 at a cost of more than $11,000 for a chamber and necessary equipment. The webpage stipulates that the Center would resale the chamber, if necessary. After discussions with Dr. *** regarding my husband's needs, he reiterated the resale, if necessary. I made the purchase. After a near fatal health issue with my husband I talked with Dr. *** again about returning the chamber. He told me that I could not sell the chamber myself because I was not a doctor. I shipped the chamber back to the Center at a cost of $883.87 on May 23, 2019. After receiving no confirmation of delivery I phoned Dr. ***. He advised that the chamber had been received. I reached out again after a period of time and was told there had been inquiries from potential buyers. Never was I consulted about re-sale price. On August 10th, 2019, I received a cashier's check for $1,500. Again I called Dr. *** to ask why I received only $1,500. He said he would send me an itemized statement regarding difference in the the re-sale price of $5,000 and the amount I received as payment. I have yet to receive any information on such a major difference. I feel that I was totally mislead and believe all the information I received prior to my purchase and information regarding return was terribly inaccurate. In my eagerness of hopefully assisting my husband's recovery, Atlanta Hyperbaric Center has made over $16,000 on the chamber. If I had known this I would have donated the chamber to a Veteran's clinic.
I would like a detailed explanation of why I received so little on the re-sale of a chamber, less than a year old and was in my den, and an itemized statement of related costs for re-sale. Hopefully an error in accounting will be discovered by Dr. *** company that would result in an additional amount of funds returned to help fray my debt incurred to purchase the chamber.

To whom it may concern, I am responding to the complaint that Mr. filed. This is self inflicting due to Mrs. not following simple instructions and she did not understand the process before she sent her equipment in. Also, She failed to properly communicate with me or staff, did not follow the instructions laid out on the web page on the proper way to sell your chamber.

I am perplexed and confused, why she filed a complaint. On 5/29 I received a shipment in with no agreement signed, No RA#, no pirier communication or knowledge of the hyperbaric chamber was to be sent in.. The customer just sent in as is. It was not cleaned out, there was no documentation at all. The only way that I couldn't identify whos chamber it was, was by the shipping label (See Attachment) with no phone number, no email and no agreement in any of the boxes. I just had to wait for someone to call and claim it.
That didn't it take long due to the fact that after about a week and twice a week, every week for two months Mrs. would call and ask if I sold her chamber yet or if was going to send her money. I informed her that this could take days, months or years to sell, I also had two other chambers the same make and size that I sell in order of when they come in. She asked if I was going to send her money and again I informed her that we do not buy hyperbaric chambers but I will do our best to sell it quick for her. She said that she was a motivated seller and do what I can to sell if quick.
I did just that, I pushed her chamber to the front and lowered the price so that I could sell it for her. I sold the chamber on August 1, with in two months, which is awesome. Like I always do I immediately sent Mrs. her first payment of $1500 on the same day because I knew she needed the money. With the remaining balance, I held in an escrowI account until purchase payment was secured in my account. This could take up to three months due to the protection of both customers and myself from returns, credit card chargeback or warranty issues. Please see policy below.

Atlanta Hyperbaric Center has the right to hold Commision checks until payment is secured in account. We will be disbursed within or upto 60 days from the date of sale depending on payment processing of purchasing customers. This is to insure happy parties on both sides of purchase and to secure transactions. Chamber must be in perfect running condition. If chamber is received, damaged the owner must pay for all fees associated with shipping and repairs of the chamber
I have contacted the purchasing customer and they are happy. I will be releasing the final payment to Mrs. the balance of $750 as of 10/3 and receipt showing the breakdown of charges that incurred. (See Attachments). This will make her total commision of $2,250.
We do our best to help our customers understand our process and procedures. But we can not change or help people's ignorance when they fail to read, understand the process or policies before entering an agreement (She never signed), couple that with their inability to follow simple instructions and just sends her equipment and expect me to drop everything sell it and pay her top dollar. Then question my integrity, are you kidding me. I ask that you please remove this false complaint due to the fact the ignorance of Mrs. who failed to inform herself about our policies or procedure in selling her chamber, being impatient, and that I paid her full commission on her consignment. .

We were sold a vitaeris 320 and were told he would resell it for us no charge once we were done. He is now refusing to resell the chamber.
We purchased the vitaeris 320 3/20/2017, He told us it was in great shape and would resell the produce when we were finish. I contacted his office 6/27/2019 and he is refusing to resell my chamber even though his business is open and selling chambers. The chamber is in the same shape that we bought it in and we only put 80 hours on the chamber.

I want him to resell my chamber as promised and give us the money made from the chamber or refund me the price I paid for the chamber. I will pay to ship the chamber for him to resell or I will return the chamber for refund
This customer is making unrealistic demands from us. She purchased a used hyperbaric chamber over two years ago, used it, healed her child and now expected me to resell her used hyperbaric chamber. Not only is this a ridiculously demand but she has now got her family and friends to go on my social media and post fake one star reviews and and place comments on my FB page bullying, and blackmailing me. I tried telling her that her chamber is considered old now, it has surpassed the amount treatment used and is unsafe to sell to another person. I told her that I would not put a child or customer life in danger because she wants to make some money. I am sorry but I can't sell it.
Update:I have spoke to the husband and he has apologized for the attacks. I have acquired legal counsel and we are preparing to file charges of harassment and slander. At Atlanta Hyperbaric Center I pride myself on doing good business with good intentions and integrity. My customers know that they are going to get good, safe equipment and I will not waiver or put someone life in danger for a dollar. Thank you, Dr.
