To whom this may concern, first I'd like to apologize that this letter is not going to be brief- being I'm determined to state the facts. At the beginning of the year, my associate had to retire after 16 years because of health issues. Unable to sustain the her lease along with my own office in...

central NJ, I decided to do some research and managed to found a location in close perimeter to the old location. I temporarily subleased a room in a enclosed room located downstairs in a Hair studio. Not to long after that I met the complainant [redacted], who was interested having permanent cosmetics done on her eyebrows. After consulting with her, I predrew a desired shape, and once she agreed I had her fill out 7 pages of Medical profile paperwork. I worked on [redacted] over 2 1/2 hours, took before and after pictures ( 8-10 pgs ) once I completed the task- she then paid the fee of $450 plus tax for the completed procedure. Note- that I offer my all clients a COMPLIMENTARY touch-up within 4-6 weeks to profect or critique if needed. I scheduled an appointment with [redacted] on March 30th for her touchup and she canceled the morning of. Please keep in mind, I travel from central NJ which 65 miles one way or 130 miles round trip, travel time is 1hr 10-30 min depending on traffic. The following week I received a call from the salon owner notifying me that someone had called the Board of Health on his business and he was forewarned that the Board of Cosmetology does not permit Permanent Cosmetics to be done in a Salon environment. Neither one of us knew that, so unfortunately and sadly we decided it was best to retire our arrangement. But before doing so, he was willing to allow me finish a few of the clients I had already worked and offer them their touchups, but it would have to be after hours-starting at 5. I then called [redacted] to let her know and she seemed to have compassion about my situation but I could sense by her tone that she was not happy- most likely because wouldn't be able to see me at an earlier hour. She finally agreed to see me on March 30th at 5 pm. On the day of... I text and called her let her know I needed more time with a client I had been working because I had encounter a few complications during the procedure, anyways, I asked if she could come in at 6 pm instead. She instantly had an attitude and trying to appease her, I reluctantly said I would try for 5:30- which ended being a mistake because of rush hour. I reached out her in a text to let her know I was on my way ( no response ). I arrived at 5:42 only to find out she never showed. The reception was my witness- so I decided to call [redacted] and she claimed she left and wasn't going to wait for me and that she'd let Board of Health and the courts deal with me. ( I have all the texts) I then apologized profusely for being late, as I know it was unprofessional but I had encountered circumstances beyond my control. I tried to reason with her by offering to return, in which she was only 10-15 min away and she refused. So I pleaded with her and finally convinced her to cooperate with me by offering to return the following week in which the owner made an exception. Fast forward, I booked her for April 12th at 12pm- on the morning of I received a phone call from the Salon receptionist notifying that the room would not be available till 1 pm because there was another practionier using the room. So I tried to reach [redacted] via text numerous times but she didn't respond. I also asked the receptionist to call my client and tell her the situation it was 11:10 am, the receptionist then called me back to let me let me know that [redacted] was upset, rude, cursing and acting irrational, and basically took her anger out on the receptionist. I felt terrible for the receptionist, she tried to defend me saying it wasn't my fault the room wasn't available but [redacted] didn't want to hear it. I proceeded to text her trying to let her know I would be there by 12:30, ( thinking I'd use another room ) but I didn't get a response. After traveling an 1 hour and 20 minutes, I arrived at 12:35 only to find that [redacted] never showed up AGAIN! She claims she was there but she never entered the establishment, again the receptionist and myself witnessed to that. In my defense, please consider the situation and all I've said and have written- I feel I tried my best to try to accommodate [redacted] but for some reason she is out to get me. I feel that she conjured a scheme to get a free set of eyebrows, I'm not sure... However, since that day, [redacted] has called the Board of Cosmetology, the Board of Health, the Revdex.com and wrote terrible review about me on Google, which in turn have all caused hardship on my business. I provided and completed a service for her and offered her several times to return for a complimentary follow up and she refused because she didn't want to wait. Instead she wants to take me to court, basically for changing the date or time of an appointment we scheduled. On April 23rd, after receiving a letter for the Revdex.com- I attempted to offer her complimentary touchup at my office and a retouch in the future along with half of the money she paid if she would just stop causing havoc and hardship in my life and contingent thatshe would agree to retract her complaint with the Revdex.com and Google but once again she refused, claiming she doesn't trust me and said she see me in court instead. [redacted] claims her eyebrows are blotchy but during all our conversation she never mentioned it once. On several occasions, I asked her to send me a picture so I could establish the issue but has refused and ignored my request. I have saved over 18000 of before and after pictures of clients I've done since 2009 and 9 times out of 10- I have been able to give my clients their desired results if they return for the touchup but only "IF" they follow the healing schedule and post care I give them when they leave. However, I am unable to please every single client... There are always going to be a few who are difficult and unreasonable or who jus don't like me. That what happens when you deal with the public. That's my case, and I want to thank you for taking time to read my side of the story in order to rectify this complaint. I suppose if [redacted] chooses to take me to court to try to get back money for a job I did, then so be it- I'm unable to stop her. I'll come prepared with a signed contact from her and before and after pictures to prove my work I delivered along with a witness and referrals if needed. Case and point, I try to treat others the way I want to be treated, and it's not always easy- but at the end of the day I do the best I can and then I must trust in the Lord and believe in His promises... Knowing that God is my vindicator and He will fight my battles.

I am rejecting this response because:
As stated in the initial complaint Judith Max reschedule on me 5 times. Twice I showed up there just for her to tell me she wouldn't be there for a half hour+. She knew I had a newborn & wasn't able to just sit around waiting for her, as each time I had to find someone to watch my children. I have a receipt from Buy Buy Baby which is right across the street from the salon, and is time & date stamped from the day of our last appointment, April 12th. she was suppose to be there at 12:00 pm. I was already on my way. She text me that she couldn't be there till 12:30 pm. so I stopped at Buy Buy Baby to waste time & pick up a couple things I needed. While I was there she had someone call me & tell me she couldn't get there till 1:00 pm. I already wasted a half hour waiting around for her. I couldn't stay till 1:00 pm. I also have all of the texts & voicemails. She is very unprofessional & never finished the job I paid for which was the initial visit & a touch up 4-6 weeks later. It is not my fault she had problems with the health department. It is her responsibility as this is her profession to know where she is aloud & not aloud to practice. The job was never finished & my eyebrows look a mess. My only options now our to let someone else finish them or have them lasered off which is $350 a session. Either of which she is responsible for paying for, as she created this mess. I guess we'll let a judge decide.
