Atlantic Animal Hospital

After neutrring,My cat had several times urinary issues . Neutering was done by Dr [redacted] at Delray animal hospital. No after surgery care information was given to us, such as diet, hygen , medical. Urinary issues continued repeated. We took him back to the same place and they I told it will cost us over $1900 and we accepted the charges , after 7 days of hospital stay the problem wasn't solved where the initial treatment was plan was only 3 days and they repeated the same treatment many days back to back . At last call they told us we can go and pick our pet home . Couple hours later they told us he is still sick and needed surgery and they need more money. We went there and tried to talk about the billing the dr [redacted] was very upset and said you have to pay our your cat will die ! Additional charge could be over $5000. And forced us to sign release paper explaining that they are not taking any responsiblity about his further issues. They didn't release our per unless we sign that paper ! THEY STILL DID NOT ADVISE US WITH HIS DIET , MEDICINE NOR FURHER NEED... Where it all started about the dieting issue that the cat has to be on a prescription food. The cat was keep licking his surgery area that could poison him and harm him . They could of at least put a cone on his neck and keep him and us aware of it . Dr [redacted] was so rude and careless .. I don't think we deserve this treatment after paying that much money and trusthing him. I took my pet to another doctor .I couldn't trust a doctor who cares about money not my pets health . I don't think they deserve that money .. I want and apologie and my $1900 back .
