I contracted Mr. to fix my Dacor stove top range on 8/23/19. After his arrival at my home he determined the problem to be a faulty ignition assembly. He requested a check for $125.0 to cover the parts purchase. On 8/26/19 Mr. called me a requested more additional funds to purchase the part needed to fix the Stove top. He told that the part was $250.
I told him that that I no longer wished the appliance be repaired. That I would appreciate a refund of $50 because his service call charge is $75. I haven't heard back from him as yet and don't expect to.
Good Morning Revdex.com,The company Atlantic Appliance was what Mr. put on the receipt that I received for work done on another project. I have attached that receipt to this email. This complaint is against Mr. personally I didn't get a receipt because the job was not complete. He was commissioned to work on my Dacor cook top. He arrived at my home on 8/23 examined the appliance and said he would have to order a new ignition unit. He called me on 8/26 informing me that the cost for the repair part would be $250.00. I had already written him a check for $125 on the 23rd. Prior to his call, I looked up on the internet the cost for the unit in question and it was around $35.00. When he call me on the 26th with the sad news I told him that I didn't want to spend that much money on the repair. I would rather replace the unit with something newer. So I asked him to return $50.00 of the money that I paid him. The remainder would cover his service call. I have not gotten a response from him to that request.Thank you for the quick response, I do hope this information helps.
