[redacted]We apologize for the incident with your 2007 Passat.  We make ever effort to make sure the car leaves here in good working condition.  I completely understand your frustration and would be willing to look over your car again and reimburse you for any of the charges. ...

Please contact me at your convenience to set up an appointment so we can determine if any damage occurred.  Please bring with you the receipts for the tow and the work completed by the other shop.  Again, we apologize and look forward to you coming back so we can get this matter resolved.Sincerely,[redacted]GMAtlantic Auto Group

Review: I traded in my 2011 [redacted] wrangler sahara that was in mint condition here at Atlantic for a 2013 green [redacted] unlimited. They showed me a car fax which showed that the 2013 [redacted] was never in an accident. When I asked them to put the hardtop on the 2013, it would not fit right. Also, little things such as the visor would not stay on properly. The vehicle leaked after it rained and had inches of water in it (I have a video of this). If you [redacted] the VIN number of the 2013 [redacted], it shows that it was salvaged and that it was indeed in an accident according to the car fax that I purchased. I took the car back to Atlantic and they only gave me $25,000 for it when I paid $35,000 for it. I had it for a month, but out of the month, I only had it for 2 weeks because of all the repairs.Desired Settlement: I want my money back since I was lied to and this was covered up by the dealer's car fax. It was bought at an auto auction because the [redacted] was involved in a rollover accident. I was lied to and this is fraud.

Response:

Responding to complaint #[redacted] Ms [redacted], we were just as surprised as you were about this [redacted]. That is why we traded you out of it and into a new Wrangler. The numbers may have been a little confusing, but we were able to give you more than the numbers stated on both accounts. We sincerely apologize for the trouble and look forward to a better experience with your brand new 2014 wrangler. Sincerely, [redacted]

Review: Car was brought into the dealer in March. Had an oil change done because it was due while it was there. I paid for a full price dealer oil change ($90) with the recommended synthetic oil for the vehicle. No other person or shop has touched the vehicle since that service. Car lost oil pressure on the highway and was towed to a local independent shop 2 months and less than 2000 miles after the oil change. The independent shop found that the oil drain plug was halfway installed and cross threaded which caused oil to leak out (was 3 quarts low) and the engine lost oil pressure. The shop replaced the missing oil and I'm now told my engine has some bottom end and lifter noise and the shop would like to check the lower engine bearings when the pan is off to assess if permanent damage occurred to my engine.Desired Settlement: Atlantic Auto group should cover any and all diagnoses, towing costs, and damages incurred due to the gross negligence of their technitions and service department, and they will never be touching any of my vehicles again.

Review: Purchased a certified used 2012 [redacted] Wrangeler . Two days after purchased found that the back seat was not equipped with seat belts or the safety anchor to lock it into the frame . Shortly after numerous other issues were found to include the blue tooth not working , the emergency break not fully engaging and missing drivers side roll bar padding . Majority of these issues are severe safety issues . They also sold us the [redacted] without inspection and with open manufacturer recalls .Contacted the dealer numerous times in person and by phone and they have dismissed the issues numerous times putting it off and saying they will handle the issues and call us back . They have yet to handle any of the issues after three weeks. The warranty they offered is set to run out in 05 days.Desired Settlement: I expect them to either fully fix the issues within a timely manner or fully refund the purchase and we will turn it in .

Response:

We apologize for you having to reach out to an outside company to get us to fix your [redacted]. Our salesperson, [redacted], came to us immediately with your concerns. Our Used Car Mgr. instructed [redacted] to tell you to contact us ASAP and we would take care of whatever the issues were. We never heard back from you. Again, I apologize that this much time went by. As far as your concerns go, we have been able to correct the majority of them with in the last 24 hrs. and should hopefully have all of them addressed by early next week. Pre owned vehicles do not always come with inspection stickers and since we do not perform used car inspections for the state you are required to take it yourself. I have made sure that going forward, all of our people do a better job explaining that process. On behalf of the Atlantic Auto Group, we sincerely apologize for your inconvenience and will do everything we can to rectify the situation. Please feel free to contact me with any further questions or issue. I can be reached at ###-###-####Sincerely,[redacted]GMAtlantic Auto Group

Review: I brought my 2008 [redacted] Town & Country in for a warranty repair on the sliding door. I brought my car in at 9:25 am on Monday, Sept 9, 2013. The dealership did not call me until 2:20 pm to inform me that the repair had not be completed since they spent the entire day on the phone with [redacted] and the warranty company. They informed me that they would need to hold the car another day.

I told them that was unacceptable and that I needed a car to get to work and kids to school the next day. Monday my husband was off from work and that is the only day the repair could have been done. They then called me back with a rental car, that I would have to pay gas and tax on. I would also have to find a way to get to the rental company and then return the rental the next day. That was going to be difficult since I worked and had to pick up kids from school and return the rental by 3pm. My husband works until 6pm. I decided to pick up the van unrepaired and would peruse another way to repair the door.

When we got home my husband called the service manager. We have attempted several phone calls and as of today, 9/26/13 no calls have been returned. The dealership even sent us an email about our service. I responded and still have not received a response from that email as of today, 9/26/13.

This is the 5th Service Manager this dealership has had since I bought my car 5 years ago. The van door is still unrepaired.

IDesired Settlement: The dealership needs to come and get the van, then complete the repair. I will not pay anything for a rental car since it was their mistake and I will not drive all the way to Egg Harbor Twp again because of their failure to do the repair the first time.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Regards,

Review: Upon signing of contracts, dealer never mentioned that they were not liable to make a total payoff of trade in vehicle. I furnished them with pay off amounts upon trading in two vehicles. They waited over a week to pay off the vehicles and they accrued more interest on the money owed. The difference in those amounts are still being billed to me. After contacting dealership, I was told that it wasn't their problem and that I have to pay for them. After 30 days, these negative factors can be aplied to my credit reports.Desired Settlement: To have both remaining balances paid off. Approximately $19.00 on one account and $59.00 on another account.
