Atlantic Broadband promises high speed internet and dvr boxAt day after install my cable box would make the hd channels skip out, and the best speeds I could clock on any device was half of promised speedI did a 24hr bandwidth test (test speed every half hour)Still the best I got was mbps while I pay for for a mbps connectionThey refuse to give any form of credit for the lack of performanceI understand during peak hours I may not reach 60mbps however for what I pay I expect to be able to do better than halfI scheduled an appointment for a tech to come out it got cancelledThey rescheduled without even informing me! Further more any time I call the local number I sit on hold for up to hrs then get disconnectedThe only way I have been able to contact a human is by contacting Atlantic broadband in PennsylvanianI live in ConnecticutI sure wish there was another cable company in town so they couldn't get away with thisThis Legalized Monopoly should be SHUT DOWN!! I have talked to several others in the area and they all seam to have the same experience with these people
Atlantic broadband has taken over the local internet serviceI pay for 60mbps service but never receive more than 28mbpsMy internet frequently cuts out for hours at a timeThis never happened prior to them taking overI have noticed the price increasing month to month and when I try to call I get nothingAs I write this I am still on hold at the minute markI am still on hold after THEY CALLED ME and put me on hold!!!!!!!!! Something needs to be done about this company!
