We stand by our original complaint in that this business does not hire trained employees to install and provide maintenance to our particular system. We were left without help on two occasions. It was our understanding that part of the installation process was to include the duct work which this company walked away from because their employees didn't know how to do it. Currently, their technician tried to install a 220 voltage regulator in a unit requiring a much lesser voltage part. Again, they caused problems when supposedly trying to fix it. Again, they walked away. Since filing our original complaint, another contractor informed us that Atlantic Comfort Systems also failed to install a unit correctly in Kennebunk which he was called in to fix. Atlantic has a history of "walking away" from  jobs they either bungle or mess up.Of course my  husband and I became very frustrated with Atlantic's inept and unknowledgeable technicians. We are not paying the ridiculous bill we are being asked to pay. Atlantic nearly ruined our unit by trying to install a higher voltage regulator, and walked away from finishing the installation of the ductwork that is a normal part of any air conditioning installation. It's not good business to mess up a job, or not complete it, and then just walk away because the customer is frustrated. This company should be barred from selling our brand of air conditioner. According to the manufacturer, none of Atlantic's technicians have been trained to service the [redacted] units, and clearly this company doesn't know what it's doing. When customers complain, they just walk away from the job and other contractors have to be hired to finish the job.  [redacted]

This facility is a 20 plus year old condo complex . We responded to a no heat call on 2/19/15 ,this unit had no access valve to service the equipment , we disconnected it from the wall added an access valve and reset the unit. Upon trying to start the unit we found the compressor to be stuck. The...

equipment is beyond its life expectancy and finding a stuck compressor we recommended replacing the compressor and invoiced for the services rendered. Followed with a quote to replace the compressor. The next communication we received was on 10/2/15  ( 8 months later) via a letter asking that we return the money he paid for the service call as he got a second opinion ( a copy of the invoice was included with the letter dated 9/03/15appears to be 7 months after our response) .This technician found and replaced a bad run capacitor . It is his right to get a second opinion but that does not alleviate the services we provided. He remains with a weak 20 plus year old compressor with a new run capacitor. I am responding to a complaint filed against my company by [redacted].  We were hired by [redacted] to replace the Condenser Unit.  The house was in very poor disrepair and not clean, the power wiring needed to be replaced by an electrician, not by us.  The duct work was also done by a...

subcontractor and not by us. Our only job for them was to install the condenser unit which we did. 2 years after the job was done, they called us about “buzz” noise. They were very belligerent towards me and my men, so we made the decision not to return to do the work. I am always willing to go out of my way to help any customer of ours that is not 100% happy with the job I’ve done, but I will not put my workers or myself in a position to be verbally attacked by the customer.This is our 24th year in business. We have received multiple awards over the years. 2 of them coming from [redacted] Air Conditioning directly. Two years in a row we were awarded the Outstanding Performance Award from [redacted].
