Review: [redacted] from Atlantic Construction was referred to the previous owner, [redacted], by the management company of the townhouse development I live in to repair a home I was in contract to purchase after pipes burst and the house was flooded in February 2013. I was involved with the real estate agent to check up on [redacted] and the home since it was a short sale and the owner lived out of state. Closing was called to come together quickly and without time to inspect the home. I was out of town at the time of closing which made my husband have to close alone. When I arrived home and received the keys from the real estate agent that is when I noticed repairs were not done correctly..... - The bathroom sink on the main floor was returned back (after being removing by damage from the flood) totally crooked. making water gathering on the right side of the sink and now staining the sink. This room had wall paper before the flood. The flood caused walls to have to be torn down, wall paper removed, walls repaired and painter. However, he left some of the wall paper in the bathroom and painted over it. Making you able to see the wall paper in places through the paint. - A fire alarm is missing in the basement. The wiring is hanging from the ceiling. The only other issues we had were not painting the basement correctly. You can see the original color blue through the newly painted walls which would mean no primer was used. [redacted] was asked to check the water heater after a professional inspector found the water heater not working correctly. The real estate agent was told there is nothing wrong with it after [redacted]'s inspection of the water heater. His answer has cost me $625 to purchase and install a new water heater. We were also told the air conditioning unit was fine. About $500 later we have had only one air conditioning zone out of three zones working. We have to put about another $700 to replace the mother board or we will not have heat this winter. These were items [redacted] could have made sure were working or not to file a claim with the insurance company since he made the claim for the entire repairs needed to the house due to the flood. [redacted]'s whole attitude was he was underpaid by the insurance and wanted to get his money. After closing and returning form my business trip I immediately called [redacted] after seeing the repairs needed to be fixed. I have been told the plumber can't come until next week, he can't come at all, I'll be there and never show up. This has been going back and forth since About July [redacted]. I have called him every week since and he does not come. We have been very nice up until this point and now it is time for action because nothing is getting done.Desired Settlement: We would like the fire alarm installed in the basement and the bathroom sink adjusted so it is not crooked with complete repair and painting of any damages to the wall he may make to get the sink off the wall. As well as installing a new sink and reimbursing us for a new sink if the present sink has been stained by the water gathering in the corner due to it being that way for many months.

Review: Job was never completed. deck was never sealed.. found that the deck was pitched toward the house - ponding in wiinter and spring rains. The iron railing has rusted and stained the blue stone - Not wroght iron? improperly constructed . Bricks were removed from the sidewalk and replace with pavers of a different color - unsightly! lawn and grass was killed by many delays and never reseeded or restored in any way. Repeated phone calls were never answered and email was returned.Desired Settlement: I want repairs done ASAP or refund so I can hire a reputable repair person.
