I am rejecting this response because: if there IS a year warranty then why did I pay $135.00? for routine maintenance??? Also, NO ONE responded to my original concern, way back in April or May. When again I have to pay $for the retention tank which may have AGAIN been covered under warranty. The system was just put in in 2012.And unfortunately I failed my home inspection because of the heater showing a red notice. It was only after I called again a few weeks ago that Kevin...not John called and made the appointment. This was what I was trying to avoid back in April or May and was ignored
I am still very disappointed and even more so now if all of this was covered under warranty. Please make the necessary refunds to me immediately of $435.00.I understand making priorities but your lack of communication, stating wrong information because I did not speak to John and charging me for under warranty service is unacceptable. I consider myself a very reasonable person but I am still very disappointed in this encounter

Sheridan Plumbing and Heating makes every effort to address any issues that may arise in timely fashionWe offer an unheard of year parts and labor warranty on all of our installsAs per the original contract the maintenance requirements are stated to be at varying intervals based on hours of
usage and for the customer to call when maintenance reminder appearsIn order to keep cost to the consumer as low as possible regarding maintenance tune ups, we need to prioritize service calls and schedule maintenance tune ups during off peak timeAny reference to the manufacturer coming out to do maintenance is a misunderstanding as no manufacturer provides such a serviceI have recently spoke to *** and made arrangements to address inspection issues as well as perform the maintenance while thereI take full responsibility for the lack of communication regard the maintenance and will make every effort to avoid having the issue going forwardThank You, John S

At the time of installation the NJHP protocols required a year labor warrantyWe offer Our invoice paperwork states that routine scheduled maintenance must be performed in accordance with manufacturer specificationsMaintenance will vary according to each households run timeSome require maintenance once a year, others can go or more before maintenance reminder appearsThe screen very clearly will state that maintenance is required with our contact infoand should be no reason to fail an inspectionI will refund the initial amount of $for the replacement of the expansion tank due to the fact that there should have been a clear and concise discussion prior to any work being doneThe $for the required maintenance and ultimately having to correct the mistake made by the inspector is well below market standards for any contractor that has the knowledge and necessary testing equipment to work on condensing boilersPlease furnish us with the full address of where you would like the refund to be sentI will forward the information to accounting and a check will be cut during the next pay out cycleRegards, John S

Good morning and thank you for your assistance.  I had accepted the offer from Sheridan Heating and Plumbing back in July, 2016.  John had written that they would mail me a check for the expansion tank in the amount of $315.00 approximately.  However as of yet, I still have not gotten anything from them. First, it is unfortunate that this warranty repair wasn’t handled properly and second, the owner had not followed through on his word. Please mail me the accepted refund to [redacted]., [redacted].I find this entire situation could had been avoided from the start and really valued the local service but now I am thinking differently.  Sincerely, [redacted]
