Review: Atlantic dental uses strong arm and delays tactics to performs duties not requested by customers. I went to Atlantic dental a few weeks ago to do a root canal they did an x ray and found that nothing else was wrong I completed the root canal and did a crown and then the dentist came back saying another tooth has cavity on the filing. I ask them if the tooth is ok they say yes but need to remove it and replaced with a crown. I told them no, the next thing I knew he was taking out the old filling a procedure I did not agree to. he said come back in a few week to put on the crown. few week I went back he said oh I found another cavity which was never there the previous weeks. he wanted to remove the filling and do another procedure and I told him no, I told him I came here to put the crown in so just do that. I sat in the chair for over two hours he measured the crown it fit next thing I know he is telling me I have to make another appointment. I ask why you just measured the crown and it was OK. he said the metal on the interior of the crown was showing so it has to go back to the lab. when the crown was taken out of the container it was fine. what he did was purposely damage the crown in attempt for me return so he can perform other works that I don't want to perform. ok fine, I made an appointment for the Saturday, I called on Thursday to find out if the damaged crown was ready the [redacted] said yes. I have a recording of the conversation. I went back on the appointment date to put the crown in. I sat in the chair and he asked me if I am going to fix cavity he saw, I said no just put the crown in that I wanted to do 2 weeks ago. he then turn to me and said oh the crown not ready yet I have to come back. I played back the recording for him of the [redacted] identifying herself and the business and notifying me it was ready. he dismissed it saying he doesn't know who it is.

this business do everything they can to rack of money on peoples insurance policies. they try to perform unnecessary work that are more expensive so they can charge the insurance company. and if you refuse to agree to any of the work they want you to do they stall and put undue burden on the customers . each time I go I pay $14 dollars in toll plus $12.00 for parking. all I need is for my crown to go in and stop being retaliatory when I don't agree to do work I don t think is necessary. the secretaries are extremely rude. I went to the [redacted] and played back the tape of her telling me my crown was ready and why she told me to come when it clearly wasn't ready they disrespected me told me to get out. they are very unprofessional . if you have good insurance these guys do everything in their power to perform unnecessary work so they can get paid.Desired Settlement: I am a customer and I am entitled to fair and honest service. Atlantic dental retaliated against me because I did want to comply with their demands for doing unnecessary work. each time I went their they found a problem that never existed before in an attempt to charge more money on my insurance. I should be compensated to all the tolls and parking fee I accrued because of their negligence and immoral activities. I also just want my crown to go in.d

Review: Dentist performed work did not discuss with me in detail and/or write down. Dentist did not go over my x-rays with me. I requested a pre-estimated bill for my records and documentation. Dentist told me that his girl "[redacted]" is not working late and he will give me on Monday 10/**/14. Dentist requested I electronic sign my signature; however I asked what am I signing for and he states its to eliminate all paper work and to have your signature on file. I complained about procedure and his behavior. Thereafter dentist attempted to "video record me on his personal phone". He states because he feels I will not come back for permanent replacement of two crowns he must do this or does not want to move forward. Dentist became rude and stated he does not want me as a patient because I give to much trouble and does not like me questioning the work he performed in my mouth. He asked me to find another dentist and states he does not like my attitude.Desired Settlement: I want a pre-estimated bill for the work he performed. The impression's of my x-rays and a copy.He stated the work he would do would not cost more then what I have on my insurance and there would be no outer pocket expense when he complete the job. I will have some monies left over on my insurance to have more work done.
