This complaint comes as a surprise to our office as we would never offer
a two year warranty on dentures against breakageNor would anyone in the industry offer such warrantyWe would adjust a denture that we made, in the event that it was ill fitting for no cost,regardless of how old it was
In fact we are provincially regulated and are Licensed in the province of Nova Scotia and have a regulating Body that oversees complaintsThis governing body requires Denturist in this province to follow guidelines
There is a standard of care for adjustments and breakageThis standard of care is covered for a period of three monthsit is policy
The product in question is fourteen months oldA lot of meals have been processed by these dentures in that period of timeIf in fact they were defective it would be safe to say it most certainly would have happened earlierCould they have been dropped over this period of time, causing abusive damage to them?
I am also a consumerI would never accept a verbal warrantyA warranty needs to be in writingClearly there has been some miss understanding by this consumer
Nonetheless, I am a fair business man and not one to take advantage of peopleI will personally repair this denture for less than half of the Nova Scotia fee guide pricewhich will amount to $***I am wishful that this will satisfy all partiesIf this is a satisfactory, I will be in my Dartmouth office Monday morning October 2nd

We will accept the response from Atlantic Denture ClinicsOn Monday October 2nd we are available in the afternoon after 1:p.mto get the dentures repaired at the $** dollar rate

My name is *** and I am the POA for my mother ***. I accompany my mother to all appointments and look after any health related and financial related matters. I was at all denture appointments with ***.

Early on in the processing of purchasing the dentures. The Denturist told me and my mother about the 2 year warranty on the product and that if there was any problems just bring them back.

The dentures were purchased on June 29th, 2016 *** was paid for a complete upper and lower set of dentures. The cost of these dentures was $*** Now September 26th there is a problem with the product. My mother was eating lunch and on of the two came out in here hotdog.

Knowing there was a warranty for the dentures, I placed a call to ***s. I was informed that there was no such warranty in place and that the only product warranty was for 3 months after date of purchase. I explained about the two year warranty and was met with disbelief and denial that such dialogue was said.

I believe that people are only as good as there word and do not believe in paying for something that I was told was covered under warranty. My mother is on a fixed income and was lucky to afford the dentures in the first place and cannot pay a repair fee for faulty craftsmanship or defects.
