Thank you for bringing this situation to our attention. At Armstrong Relocation, we do everything we can to safely move and store household goods for our customers, but from time to time, we do have issues. Unfortunately,
moving and storage is not a perfect science. With regard to this particular move, we received three Claim Forms from our customer: January 23, 2015, February 23, 2015, and March 22, 2015. There was some unforeseen delay in the claim settlement process as our Claims Manager left in early JanuaryWe hired an outstanding Claims Manager within in the next few weeks with over years of experience in the household goods industry, but it did take her some time to get up to speed from an Armstrong Relocation claim processing standpoint
We made a settlement offer in April which was refused by our customer.
To date, we have paid $2,to the customer as a "cash out" for certain claimed items. We have also paid $6,to our repair firm to make repairs on damaged items
We are preparing a second offer in the amount of $8,747. This includes a goodwill gesture of $1,which is the amount claimed for a damaged floor. Please note that the customer did not identify any floor damage at the time of delivery. In fact, the customer signed off on a "Property Damage Form" that there was no damage to the residence at time of delivery

Dear Revdex.com--
I spoke with our Claims Manager and she confirmed a conversation she had with this customer regarding the $2,088 check.  Apparently, the check was mailed but it was never received by our customer,  We stopped payment on the original check and a new check is being issued.  With regard to the $8,747 check that was referenced in our original response, per our Claims Manager, this was mailed and received by our customer.
