I ordered a bunk bed from thei company. Upon assembling, there were three pieces that were damaged. The instructions said to contact the company regarding damaged items to request replacements. I have been calling their 800 number for four days now. I have yet to speak to an actual person. When you call, you keep getting routed through an automated system. I have left multiple messages with no return call.I have also emailed with no response. This company has horrible customer service.
When putting together furniture metal parts were missing. They offer to supply parts but I have to pay shipping them. Not my fault. Should not charge All model numbers and order number was supplied to manufacturer and ordered thru Amazon.comDesired SettlementAll I want is missing parts sent to Me prepaid. Whomever packed furniture for shipment failed to include the metal bars with screws...I should not have to pay a shipping charge. I have never heard of such a thing in dealing with any other companyBusiness Response Purchase was out of warranty period. We offered as per the warranty policy, to mail the customer any hardware needed at no charge but that the customer would be responsible for shipping charges. This warranty policy was provided to the customer for review.Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I do not accept their response. As I stated previously, the metal parts were missing DUE TO THEIR NEGLIGENCE IN PREPARING SHIPMENT AND INCLUDING THEM IN WHAT WAS NEEDED TO COMPLETE FURNITURE, NOT MY FAULT. I have never been told that I must pay for shipping costs when a part is missing from any business that I have dealt with in my life. Being a businessman, if you were at fault , you make it right for the customer in order to keep good relations and future business. Improper practices will hurt a business as does word of mouth.
